Well since the decade is closing, what are some of your highlight albums for this decade?

 

For me there are many, but some perfect ones (that will even have their own threads)

 

David Bowie - Blackstar (2016)

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie and Lowell (2015) *Might be my favorite album of the decade, very excited to talk about this more*

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly (2015)

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition (2016)

Flying Lotus - Cosmograma (2010)

Can’t think of many from younger and breakthrough acts. This decade sucked for mainstream music, rock or not. It’s either Radio Disney pop or boring minimalist indie circle jerking that critics love lately. Yawn.

Search the internet for stuff you like instead of relying on the mainstream to tell you what to like. There's a good chance you'll find more music to enjoy.
