  1. Does GOOSE cover these songs?
  2. From Drum Magazine. Mean Mean Stride: The Drums Of Neil Peart Things were kicked up a notch for Power Windows, as Peart started triggering samples from EPROM chips, which were loaded into the analog-digital hybrid Simmons SDS-7 module. “With that ’Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory,’” he says, “I was able to make true samples for the first time, burning chips with specific sounds I liked, and triggering them through the Simmons pads. Although it was very primitive technology, it did allow me to use ’found sounds’ (like the clinking 50-pence coins in the intro to ’The Big Money’), or even create my own sounds — by, for example, combining acoustic sounds with vocalized drum sounds, also used in ’The Big Money.’”
  3. From MusicRadar: "There's not a shred of evidence on the internet that this band has ever existed": This apparently AI-generated artist is racking up hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams
  4. If an individual had their photos developed and negatives were included, does that prove anything?
  5. Another great bonus feature for the Grace Under Pressure 40th Anniversary Box Set, is including the Body Electric animate cartoon.
  6. The above makes me think of when Tom Cochrane discusses his song 'Lunatic Fringe' here. "Funny, the song ('Lunatic Fringe') eclipsed 'Start Me Up' on radio and set a record at rock radio...16 straight weeks. Every week we'd get the report...'Friday Morning Quarterback', number one. We just thought: "How long is this going to last?" Is there a difference between someone or something being a 'Monday Morning Quarterback' vs 'Friday Morning Quarterback'?
  7. I found this short video interview from Joe Walsh, where gives his hilarious opinion on A.I. This interview took place around Ringo Starr's 83rd birthday celebration with his 'peace and love' message.
  8. Now I remember what I found amusing about this forum, is the 'yes' and 'no' heads.
  9. Hello, I'm not sure if this has been posted before. I viewed this 'Live From Daryl's House' episode here with Daryl Hall and Robert Fripp, which is excellent. The highlight is Daryl Hall and his band playing the King Crimson song 'Red' with Robert Fripp.
  10. I posted about this topic awhile back here. I would recommend checking out the 2014 book Live Magnetic Air: The Unlikely Saga of the Superlative Max Webster by author Martin Popoff. There's a tonne of RUSH anecdotes from the book.
  11. Until I saw the recent Ray Wawrzyniak interview, I didn't think a Grace Under Pressure 40th Anniversary box set would happen. I found these posts below and believed it to be a no-go. Post 1 Post 2
  12. I did some research on the history of the People's Choice Awards, in particular the 'best song' category. Here's the two classic rock bands mentioned for the above. KISS - Beth STYX - Babe Two bands with four letter word names with four letter word songs. Lady (another four letter word song) won, but Kenny Rogers isn't the name of a band.

  13. The commonality between Dave and Neil's stories is that they both lost important possessions, which miraculously were found later on and returned.
  14. Singer and songwriter Michael Bolton is also currently battling glioblastoma, as noted here.
  15. I found this video titled Dave Grohl And Taylor Hawkins Tell The Greatest Story Ever. Portions of what Dave said made me think of this Neil Peart story Miracle In Colorado.
