Kristen, the bartender/server, comes over with my check, shaking her head, and says, "I don't what happened but your sandwich got put on someone else's tab, and it's off the open orders in the computer", meaning whoever got charged paid for it, and their tab is closed. "You're only getting charged for your beers", barely 10 bucks. I figured out what the full tab would have been to keep from shorting Kristen on the tip, paid up and left, sending thoughts of good sports bar karma to the benevolent soul who bought my lunch, at least the food part. Once in a while I go further west to Claremont and it's nice to have it ready instead of paying cash. I already use monthly passes for Omnitrans in San Berdnardino County which could use a tap system, hint, hint. Took the FT to a Planet Fitness today in San Dimas. Yeah, that one.
