Doors

The Soft Parade - Soft Parade

Strange Days - Strange Days

LA Woman - Riders on the Storm

Waiting for the Sun - Unknown Soldier

Doors - Break on Through

Morrison Hotel - Waiting for the Sun

American Prayer - The Poet's Dreams

Other Voices

Full Circle

I never knew The Doors are your favorite band.

It doesnt have to necessarily be your favorite band, I guess that title is sorta misleading

Bands' vs. Band's

Your title is right on the money! :)

I guess we'll never know which one was right.

Jimi Hendrix occasionally used different names and spellings for some of his songs. In his handwritten lyrics, he used "Voodoo Chile" for the longer song, while he used both "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" and "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" for the following one recorded with the Experience.[20] In his handwritten album notes for Electric Ladyland sent to his record company, he listed the songs as "Voodoo Chile" and "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)";[21] when the album was released in the US by Reprise Records on October 16, 1968,[22] these spellings for the two songs were used.[23] When the album was subsequently released by Track Records in the UK, the songs were listed as "Voodoo Chile" and "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)".[24] In 1970, the "(Slight Return)" song was released as a single in the UK and it was simply titled "Voodoo Chile", without the further designation.[25] Later album reissues usually follow the Reprise or Track album spellings, depending on the country of origin.[26]

You put Axis ahead of the debut?

I have always enjoyed the spacey and "weird" vibe that runs through the album.

weird for me to do Yes before Genesis, but it's hard to decide with Genesis these days (I love every record for different reasons), so I'll do Yes first:

Close To The Edge - Close To The Edge

The Yes Album - Yours Is No Disgrace

90125 - Hold On

Tales From Topographic Oceans - The Revealing Science Of God

Fragile - South Side Of The Sky

Relayer -it all kind of bleeds together right now, it's all great though

Going For The One - Awaken

Tormato - only heard it about once, but I loved the opener

Drama - Machine Messiah is heavy as heck

Big Generator - heard bits and pieces... I'll say Rhythm Of Love

Do yourself a favor......while I realize Big Generator is not looked upon fondly.....listen to these two tunes from it:

Final Eyes

Aim High Shoot Low

Excellent songs.

Here is how I would do Van Halen, but not in any particular order, and with David Lee Roth, as the lead singer, not their A Different Kind of Truth c.d., and album, and Gary Cherone, as the lead singer, not their III c.d., and album. With the six c.ds, and albums as David Lee Roth, the lead singer, and the four c.ds, and albums as Sammy Hagar, the lead singer, I like the ten of them equally.

1984 (1984) - House of Pain, and I'll Wait

Diver Down (1982) - Hang 'Em High

Fair Warning (1981) - Hear About It Later

Women and Children First (1980) - Everybody Wants Some!!

II (1979) - Outta Love Again

I (1978) - Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love

Balance (1995) - Feelin', and Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do)

For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (1991) - Pleasure Dome, and the Dream Is Over

OU812 (1988) - Cabo Wabo, and When It's Love

5150 (1986) - Love Walks In

I'm gonna try Genesis now. I tried them earlier but I couldn't make up my mind:

Foxtrot - Supper's Ready

The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway - Anyway (perhaps)

A Trick Of The Tail - Ripples

Genesis - Mama

Selling England By The Pound - Dancing With The Moonlit Knight

Nursery Cryme - The Musical Box

Abacab - No Reply At All

Duke - Behind The Lines

Wind And Wuthering - One For The Vine

Invisible Touch - Land Of Confusion

Trespass - The Knife

We Can't Dance - Driving The Last Spike

From Genesis To Revelation - erm...The Serpent?

don't remember enough about And Then There Were Three to rank it, certainly don't remember loving it, haven't ever heard the very last one
