To me it's the last album truly worthy of the Rush brand, however, the rot had started to set it.

Force Ten is embarrassing, and the last two tracks are abysmal.....apart from that it's a damn fine collectionof songs.

whatchoo talkin bout? Force Ten is great.

"Tough times, demand tough talk, demand tough hearts, demand tough songs".

I think that was Pye Dubois' contribution. Best lyrics in the song if you ask me.

Another 10/10, played the sh*t outa this album in its day and many times after. love Tai Shan and High Water too, important kind of lower tempo elements to it

Should say every Rush album 10/10 for me except Clockwork Angels which gets a mere 9.5 due to a couple tracks being sub par imo

I like the whole album, including Tai Shan. It is just another face of the band that shows how diverse they can be. I'll take Tai Shan over most of the crap they try to pawn off as music these days. :rush:

Album took me a while to get into.  I was still in my "metal" only mode.  Hold your fire was way more mature then I was ready to handle at the time.  A few years later I fully enjoyed what they accomplished...
