blueschica Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Prairie is going from a sauna to a drought I fear. Where the hell do we store the stuff if we can't sell it or ship it away? #crapshoot Our section of Pennsylvania is definitely in a drought this summer. A neighbor was beefing about the price of sweet corn today; I felt like saying it's not growing well, silly. Supply affects prices of these things! 1
Tinwoodsman Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 We have an over supply. The harvest will be good enough and then some. Our Canadian ports are expanding ... who will be able to buy it anyways? Crazy timz! Small peanuts to some. 2

When did you move?Last May. It’s beautiful down here, but I’m still not used to the constant, oppressive heat. As for hurricanes, I experienced Sandy up in NJ, and that was really bad. So I’m not sure what to expect here. :| 3

Even the gila monsters are like "Warm today, huh?"A dry heat, that's a joke my mother's family always said when they came out to visit. My uncle said you hardly sweat here, well compared to the South yeah maybe. :laughing guy: Edited August 1, 2020 by Rhyta 1
