  1. This such sad news. ORF was a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. Rest in Peace, sir.
  2. In North Texas right now, it's 103 F and feels like 106. It won't get below 100 until around 9 p.m. Gotta "love" August in Texas.
  3. I have pangs, every once in a while still, where I can't believe Neil is gone. And, my heart sinks.
  4. It's an amazing thing! I hope you had a wonderful birthday, RR. Here's to you:
  5. I love that photo - so poignant now. Is this before SARS? I'll try to look and find out. Cygnus-x1.net has it posted as a backstage photo from the R40 concert in Dallas, TX in May 2015. It's sooo Neil- observing others while not being seen himself . . . I was at that show with my kids!!!!
  6. I think about you and CeeJ a lot! I miss you guys. I miss the old days of TRF. It was so amazing and fun. The old days of TRF. Sheesh! It sounds like some legendary time in the days of yore. :D A few of us had nothing better to do and never left :P Cool to see many of you old schoolers roaming the halls  I never left. I like it here. They have cheese. Free cheese. Good gouda Sweet Swiss Yummy Jarlsberg Choosy Cheddar We really need to start a cheese company,

  10. Congratulations on 8 years on The Rush Forum. And, a few years of us debating if you are actually Alex. Either way, yay! We are all glad you are here.
  11. My original title was The Welcoming Committee.
  12. Holy crap. LOL! We did retire it, yes. It was fun, but so many people were joining that it became too hard to keep up. Love you for digging it up, though. So much history here.
  13. TRF is quoted a few times here: https://www.alternativenation.net/paul-stanley-reveals-really-killed-neil-peart/
  14. I know. Me too. I LOVE YOU Love you too, sis. I'm so grateful for TRF more than ever. Without it, I would feel so alone in my sadness right now.
  15. This band has been such an integral part of my life since the age of 13, it's like I've just lost a family member. I'm just wandering around my house and then sitting down again, feeling pretty lost. This really hurts.
  16. I am totally numb. At a complete loss for words or thoughts.
  17. Treeduck, you are the most original soul I know. Don't ever change. Thank you for the birthday wishes. Treeduck is VERY original. Hey, wait a tick.... that post looks familiar....
  18. Happy Birthday, Sunny!!!! I hope all your birthday wishes come true. :sundog:
  19. Yay, Earl! Thirteen years of indecipherable rambling and questionable wisdom! You: Us: And, we wouldn't have it any other way. Congrats on the TRF anniversary, my friend.
  20. This is truly amazing! I'm so happy for you Lorraine. This is testament to what a wonderful place TRF is. The board is going on 15 years since its inception, and not for nothing that it's still around. This is a gathering of some of the most incredibly generous, loving and compassionate people anywhere.
  21. That was fantastic. Any chance to see them is a real treat. Thanks, 73. :) I seriously miss the anticipation of a new album and tour from them. But, knowing they're enjoying their lives makes me almost as happy.
