Hatchetaxe&saw
I think it was Van Morrisson in Cork, sometime in the mid 80's. Heavy anaesthetic shit right there. Bloody awful. It's a miracle I became the gigwhore I am today after that load of old man's dribble.

ILSnwdog
Mine was Power Windows back in 85. My mother was a tad over bearing and wouldn't let me go to concerts until I was 16. Imagine seeing Rush as your very first live act...needless to say, every other concert paled in comparison (other than other Rush concerts). edie
David Essex, Manchester Apollo, 1978. I was 11. First proper concert was either Magnum in Middlesbrough Town Hall in the spring or summer of 1983 or Robert Plant at Manchester Apollo the same year. GeddyLeeRoth
13 years old back in '86--Van Halen 5150 Tour, say what you will about Van Hagar, but their first with him was brilliant and they were phenomenal live. Later that summer I would see Ozzy--The Ultimate Sin Tour and David Lee Roth--Eat Em And Smile. On my 14th birthday the next winter, I saw Iron Maiden--Somewhere In Time. Simply awestruck. God those were the days.
afurrything
My mom used to take me to shows all the time when I was in grade school. Bands she wanted to see. Chicago, Barry Manilow, I know there's more. I know I saw Bob Seger when I was in 5th or 6th grade, so late 70s. First saw Rush Moving Pictures tour, so I am guessing 1982ish.
