  10. got some real nice orange stuff from a friend. got a little over two grams for 15$ anyone heard of sprinkling tiny flakes of chewing gum over their bowl to add flavor? It's supposed to be amazing, but i'm a bit hesitant
  11. Finding out through my mom that my uncle and grandmother have been complaining about my girlfriend behind her back and mine. my uncle had the balls to compare her to a woman who got kicked out of rehab for screwing too many of the "inmates", but he can't say a f***ing word to me. My little family just got smaller.

Are you asking if I have a violence fetish? Nope, that didn't cross my mind. I guess I'm asking this: How many times have you been beaten down to get you to that level OR what have you seen/experienced to get you to that level? If it isn't clear, "that level" is 'never leaving the house without a knife (one minimum) and most often a short tactical baton'. Always liked that line in Tarantino's Death Proof..."You know what happens to muthafuckas that carry knives?...They get shot!" Not trying to rip you. Just saying you should be careful and I'm not sure carrying a knife (or knives) is being careful. [Probably wind up in jail for carrying, if anything.] Besides, if you're going to carry a blade, might as well go full-on, not half-ass it, and go with a katana. http://www.dfoggknives.com/copy_of_index/katana.gif Well, I've been in my share of fights, but never been "beaten down." I carry my knife (and often a baton) because A- a knife is the handiest thing you can have, for stopping an attacker or knitting, whatever you're into. and B- they're both legal for open carry up here and in my area nobody is stupid enough to pull a gun* but basically, I've always had the sentiment of "it's me or them" in the back of my mind, and in a situation where my family, friend(s), or I was in danger, it's an easy decision. *three blocks from the police station

  14. Get between them. If the girl wants to attack me, I never leave the house without my favorite knife (one minimum), and most often a short tactical baton

Even better if he delivered them to me at work. For some reason this part of the instructions made me laugh: Now you have a pretty good rose that you can use, but the wire stem is pokey and hurts when you get stabbed with it... Yeah, not the most amazing guide, but i got it after a couple tries. wait, doesn't it get hurt being stabbed with pretty much anything?

" Lets gets a hot chik lead singer and we'll build up a fan base" Yeah ill pass. Oy vey. Another music snob on TRF? I can't believe it. I like everything from AC/DC to Frank Zappa. This band is uninspiring, boring, cliche radio rock. Basically the same shit thats been spewing from the airwaves for the last decade. You posted a link to a band and i gave my opinion. No snobbery here. Show me something that's original these days. Not only original, but GOOD. I doubt that there's anything new that isn't heavily influenced by something that came before it. Am I arguing your point... not really, cuz you're mostly right. But find me something NEW that's not rehashed and still GOOD and I'll buy it. For now, I have to find the re-hashed generic shit that's good. I just can't listen to any more ACDC or Zappa or even Just because something was good twenty, thirty years ago, doesn't mean I need to still listen to it. I get bored easily and it's rare that I even listen to anything "classic". Can't stand it. So i'm left with finding gems in a mine of shit. Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, and now HaleStorm are just three that I can think of that I like right now. I guess I don't take music as serious as you. Or I just realize that it's all been done and there's just not much more that can knock me over and still be original. If you can find something more original than inventing your own instrument, let me know
  19. For anyone on TRF who wants a Dimebag Darrell razor necklace, I stumbled across this http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.22901
  20. Disturbed, with Egypt Central and The Art Of Dying opening for 'em.

Just out of sheer curiousity... I wanna know what all the hype is about. We'll see if I can stand it or not... telling you right now... if it's anything like True Blood then I wont like it. I cant STAND True Blood. If you don't like "True Blood," you'll probably hate "Twilight." Fans of one are usually fans of the other. QUOTE (Natch @ Dec 3 2009 @ 01:54 PM) Since when are vampires all buff and sensitive? I thought vampires were supposed to be scary. These aren't the same vampires you and I grew up with. These "vampires" walk around in the daytime and "sparkle." The only similarity between these so-called vampires and traditional vampires is they subsist on blood and can live forever. Stephanie Meyer admittedly knew nothing about vampires when she chose to write about them, and she didn't correct this problem by doing any research. She should've given a new name to this race of "sparkling" beings she created, because they're not "vampires." Ya I prefer the Anne Rice type of Vampire Lore... the one with historical background and seductive lures to your death by these undead monsters. I love Lestat! The vampire culture has been sexed up these days. We got True Blood where these Undead creatures can somehow manage to get it up enough to have sex with eachother and with humans. Then we got Twilight where it's all about witholding the sex from the relationships and being "vegetarians" meaning not eating people, only animals. I mean don't get me wrong Im intrigued by this new vein that Vampire culture has opened but personally for me it's not as interesting as the other ones. How about a real vampire series?
  22. QUOTE (Fridge @ Dec 5 2009, 03:30 PM) QUOTE (tick @ Dec 5 2009, 02:03 PM) QUOTE (Fridge @ Dec 5 2009, 07:49 AM) I finally saw this. It has been on my hard drive for a while and hadn't got round to it..... I was expecting the usual Disneyesue schmaltzy sacharrine, and I was very pleasantly surprised. What a charming story, told with just the right amount of characterisation and very emotional without descending into crude button-pushing. Very impressed indeed. Fridge giving a Disney movie a positive review ? These are the end of days. Though it's not really a Disney movie, is it?
