  1. I loved Rush since 1978. I swiped my mom's Hemispheres album. Have been hooked since then. The hubby is a casual fan. My oldest son, he's 11, loves them! SO does my oldest daughter, she's 22. I'm on facebook if anyone wants to add me. I think you can find me under afurrything. My profile picture is Eddie's hands. If you can't find me that way my name is Mindi Denson.
  2. A phone call! I was asked to help do some Brad promotions in the St Louis area. They said they could always count on me to help out. That really made my day!
  3. LOVE horror movies! I saw It's Alive in the theater too. My parents even took me to see the Exorcist at the drive in! Now that was scary! I was born in 67, so no clue what they were thinking. But I love horror. All kinds of horror. Love the Sleepaway Camp series. Love the cheesy stuff. My one son loves it all too and has quite the collection of dvds.
  4. Ice tea. Haven't eaten yet today. Yeah my eating habits are horrible. I am making buffalo chicken salad for dinner tonight, can't wait! This is the recipe I used http://www.joyfulabode.com/2010/05/20/buff...wlocal-produce/ I'm using Bleu Cheese Dressing because I think Ranch smells and tastes like glue Updating, THIS IS DELICIOUS! I added some red and yellow peppers too. MMMMMMM so good!
  5. I'm kind of afraid to admit, I ate a Double Down. Skipped the cheese. I eat low carb so I probably should have gotten the grilled chicken, but I eat at KFC maybe once a year so darnit I wanted Original Recipe! Hadn't eaten all day and it was after 6 pm. So we stopped at KFC.

  7. I thought of 2 more. Bright Eyes-Lifted or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground Pearl Jam-Backspacer. Ok I confess I sometimes skip the first song.
  8. QUOTE (FoxxiStarr @ Sep 7 2010, 02:54 AM)QUOTE (afurrything @ Sep 3 2010, 09:39 PM) Sweet posters Eddie sent over to our fundraiser on Saturday. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/46116_463724497386_647597386_7041609_4514906_n.jpg And mmmmmm I feel like a dirty old lady lusting him this young http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/44660_463957397386_647597386_7050183_7028904_n.jpg Do you do fundtraisers for the WM3 then?? I teach my kids about them. I've done two to benefit the WM3. I do fundraisers with Wishlist Foundation. It's a Pearl Jam fan organization. Here's a link to the one we just did, I'm Mindi http://wishlistfoundation.org/2010/08/wm3-rally-fundraiser/ I've done a few other fundraisers with Wishlist. I usually do them to benefit TTTS, twin to twin transfusion syndrome. I lost one of my twins when she was only 3 years old due to complications of TTTS so it's close to me. My friend, Melissa in the link I posted, lives in AR and the WM3 is close to her. She's helped me out with my TTTS fundraisers so when she asked me to help her with the WM3 one I said of course. Now I've gotten very close to the case and am trying to do what I can to help.
  9. The only one I can think of right now is Pearl Jam-Ten. Not a bad song on the whole thing. I confess I do sometimes skip over Garden, but it's still a damn good song. I'll come up with more tomorrow.
  10. I have had this stuck in my head since Saturday when I heard it at the show. Golden State

  12. HI! My name is Mindi! Welcome!
  13. This man is as beautiful inside as he is outside. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/45151_10150263897655204_727200203_14624719_5976526_n.jpg
  14. Well Mr Vedder looked very very nice Saturday. And he was so nice and sent over two signed posters for our fundraiser we did. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/46071_1534013904023_1045076270_1582538_6393861_n.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/46071_1534013864022_1045076270_1582537_5881654_n.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/46071_1534013824021_1045076270_1582536_4339510_n.jpg
  15. QUOTE (tick @ Aug 26 2010, 11:27 AM)QUOTE (afurrything @ Aug 26 2010, 11:23 AM) All you Eddie haters Eddie Vedder is awesome! I'm going to see him Saturday in Little Rock AR. I can't wait!
  16. QUOTE (Enemy Within 77 @ Aug 24 2010, 11:03 PM) I'm surprised no one said Dave Matthews! That guy has got the WORST MOST ANNOYING FUKKING VOICE I've evr had the displeasure of hearing! Dave Matthews sounds like a goat when he sings. I'm trying to think of who's voice drives me crazy. I have to say Ozzy's voice is really bad. I agree with Billy Corgan. And I'm not going to throw anything at whoever said Eddie Vedder, I'm nice I will disagree though! Thought of another one, Chris Cornell.
  17. MMM going to go see this sexy boy in 5 days! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/45662_460628537386_647597386_6955868_2839040_n.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/evauck.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/mr%20ed/littledevoboy.jpg
  18. I'd love flashable boobs. But after 8 kids, I sure don't have them. I'd like to have them back up where they should be. I'd also love to get rid of my pooch. The part of my gut I can't seem to exercise away. I can tighten up my lower abdomen but the section under my boobs down to my waist is all flabby. Probably again from having 8 kids including a twin pregnancy.
  19. Well, seems I'm going to see Eddie Vedder in Little Rock AR in TEN DAYS! I can't believe tickets just went on sale yesterday. Now to figure out how I'm going to get there.
  20. Oh and I thought of another one. Anything Dyson. Me and the hubby were at Bed Bath and Beyond the other day and they had one of those new Dyson "fans" on display. It worked just as good as my regular $13 fan. The only difference is that it's $300. Then I saw a commercial for the Dyson vacuum and that guy was talking about what a superior product he had invented. It was then that I decided he sounds like a pompous prick and I would never own one of his vacuums unless it was so I could suck up his balls in it.
  21. QUOTE (BeOhBe Bob @ Mar 20 2010, 10:20 PM)QUOTE (Lerxster @ Mar 10 2010, 10:59 AM)Every single cotton picking AT&T ad with Luke Wilson. Every one of em!!! ummmm David Cox Arquette, but who give a rat's ass anyway I'm pretty sure it is Luke Wilson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_Wilson
  22. QUOTE (Mara @ Aug 9 2010, 03:12 PM) QUOTE (MusicHead @ Aug 9 2010, 03:39 PM) Commercials I hate: Billy Mays ones (RIP Billy) Crapitol One Smiling Bob the perverted loon Anything pimping pharmaceuticals We call him "Boner Bob" around my house. He's creepy - there are some things a gigantic wiener cannot make up for. (I keep wondering if his commercial wife walks like Yosemite Sam, though). My kids call him Bob and his wiener. They always say Bob and his wiener commercial is on again. We didn't see them for a long time, but recently saw them again. We actually kind of missed them.
