anagramking
I concur regarding Corgan and Cobain. Just awful. I absolutely disagree about Axl Rose. I can't say he's someone I would want to have a beer with (he might show up at the bar three hours later, for one thing), but he's a phenomenal singer. Mandalorian Hunter
QUOTE (deadwing2112 @ Jan 9 2008, 03:08 AM) QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Jan 8 2008, 05:53 PM) In terms of actually bad singers; Kele Okerele of Bloc Party, David Bowie and Lemmy come to mind. But they're bad singers that I like. In terms of my least favourites; The guy from Kings of Leon, Claudio Sanchez and all those screamo types/ Besides the fact that Claudio doesn't scream. I never said he did Go read it again, I said Claudio Sanchez AND all those screamo types. If I'd have been saying Claudio Sanchez screamed, I would have said; Claudio Sanchez and all the other screamo types. If only people would read what people write

condemned2bfree
faith no mores original singer 'Chuck mosley' was AWFUL just terrible, so bad he got fired replaced with an excellent singer. Ive heard the first album with him on, its cringeworthy. If you think Labrie is bad check out dream theaters 1st album with Dominic - forgethis name singing.......its not too good. Ian curtis is regarded as having a bad singing voice...I love their music though. Agree about Corgans reedy whining live .....ugh!

Hatchetaxe&saw
This topic drives me nuts. So many great singers listed already!! There were two singers for both The Clash & Blink 182, which ones caused aural offence, or was it all 4?????

Sorry, had to bring it up Technically, she's not actually a bad singer. Very good infact. This is an awful thread, mainly for the title. Maybe it should have said 'Least Favourite' instead of 'Worst'

Mustard Death
QUOTE (Del_Duio @ Jan 8 2008, 06:31 PM) For me, this is an easy one. Ever since I saw this band's video on MTV about 15 years ago I site the singer from Dinosaur Jr. as the worst I've ever heard. Good guitarist (I guess), but just awful singing. Dude, J. Mascis is the shit. Anyways... Tom DeLonge is pretty horrible in my opinion, and also Anthony Kiedis... just because he's so f***ing god awful live.
