  1. It took me a while to process this, I needed to come back here to read all the tributes. It will be a rough few days.
  2. Soni

    :O

Son of a fulgurant flamming yet facinating familiar forward-thinking fabricated flying fool! :codger:
  3. Oh merci !! Je devrais vraiment plus poster ici :)
  4. There was a couple of things, the 2008 tour with Fripp, Belew, Levin, Mastelotto and Harrison, but that led nowhere and the seventh Crimson ProjeKct with Jakko Jakszyk, Mel Collins and Rob with Levin and Harrison as well, they did an album called a scarcity of miracles. They never really went away...
  5. A bit sad to see Belew out... I guess Fripp got tired of his lyrics !
  6. It's good ! I like it more than the previous one but it's more of the same...
  7. Good song! I was expecting more of a "re-invention" , it's still typical DT.
  8. Great band! Crack the sky is a killer album, they're not Dream Theater, and that's a good thing, less wanking. I love their heavier stuff too, Remission is a MONSTER
  9. Looking forward to this, the previous album what almost a parody of Dream Theater. My favorite era is stil the four albums released between 1999 and 2005, SC was meh, BC&SL was good though. I wonder what Mangini will bring to the band
  10. :hi: :hi: :hi: Amy? This is me and my roommate in the worst photo montage ever.
  11. I don't expect to live long enough to see a new Tool album anyway
  12. Man I could listen to these albums 10 times a day and not be tired of it... Brilliant, brilliant stuff
  13. Damn I miss Portnoy in this band... Great stuff!
  14. Great story! I wish they'd work with the Caveman again, from what I saw in the Rush doc, he seems to have "raw" approach when it comes to record sounds. I'm fine with Nick R's production, Collins was right for the time.
  15. I agree! Although I'm not really a fan of their first two albums, they're by no means bad records! I can't wait to heat what they're going to do next.
  16. http://sphotos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/577235_10200775944228014_175332944_n.jpg I met this nice guy in Paris :)
  17. Did he do the hour of bass communion thing?
  18. Look at Steven's heroes: guys like Robert Fripp, Scott Walker they take 10 years to release new albums, I wouln't be surprised if he wanted to act like them. I'm ok with that. His solo albums are great, I think people are just attached to the "Porcupine Tree" brand name too much
  19. By the way, the better punk rock came from America (Bad Religion, Operation Ivy (later Rancid) NOFX, Pennywise)
  20. You know, I was really involved some time ago in my town's local Punk scene, and I really got fed up with their attitude. They still believe the Ramones or The Clash are the best bands ever as though no other bands had came during the last 35 years. I almost got in a fight with a guy who was adamant Syd Vicious was a great bass player, obviously, I told him he wasn't , so he answered me something like "it dosen't matter, it's the image and the look that matter", anyway we argued for about half an hour and I ended up calling him "a f***ing groupie". But I still like a lot of punk music, I just find the ideology completely retarded.
  21. Leonard as Picard was brilliant!
