That I cannot answer, but it's the absolute best song off the new album for me. Maybe they think it's too similar in structure to Under a Glass Moon and prefer to play the original song instead? The K Man
What is so difficult about the first minute and a half of Lost Not Forgotten? I doubt DT has ever recorded anything they couldn't play live. The toughest part of Lost Not Forgotten would be the tickle section (1:59-2:29), but even that they could nail after practicing it enough.

Shall update yiz all later. As always, a HUGE amount of Rush shirts in evidence, including yours truly. Great gig!!! Support act were f*cking dreadful. Periphery, 3 7 string guitarists and a cookie monster growler. F*cking shite of the highest order, not one noticeable melody in 30 minutes of muck. DT were fantastic. Was not expecting an acoustic set. Mangini was awesome, smiling all night and what a solo!! Without MP they seem looser, happier, more of a band of equals. I still say Jimmy The Cheese is the most anodyne front man ever and has all the presence of a boiled potato, but to his credit, he had a bad cold last night, but he soldiered on. The crowd were a bit flat for the start, but by the end everyone was standing. The keytar was onstage, but was not used. As ever, Petrucci stole the show. SETLIST: Dream Is Collapsing (Hans Zimmer song) Bridges in the Sky 6:00 Build Me Up, Break Me Down Surrounded The Root of All Evil Drum Solo A Fortune in Lies Outcry Acoustic The Silent Man Beneath the Surface On the Backs of Angels War Inside My Head The Test that Stumped Them All The Spirit Carries On Breaking All Illusions Encore: Pull Me Under Note: John Petrucci played an extended guitar solo before The Spirit Carries On

GeddPratLerxst
If the assholes who run the Grammy so called "music" awards didn't attempt to smash together Hard Rock and Metal, Dream Theater would have won for sure. But the fact that they included the f***ing Foo Fighters in the same award (not that I HATE the Foo Fighters they are just WAY overrated) completely screwed up the whole thing. I never watch the Grammys for this reason. And the fact that they didn't even televise this award is just another stab in the back to any METAL fan. I'd like to see any of those fake pop artists who are going to come away with at least 5 awards tonight try to even speak with DT about music. Also I'd like to point out that while most of the rich liberal jerkoffs who claim to make music were out getting drunk and partying, pretending they know what music is, the members of DT were with their families.
