What is your least favorite song of the 1990s?

Recommended Posts

Inspired by a podcast episode I listened to recently. I think mine at the moment is Ice Ice Baby.

Good one, I’d need to think about it. Probably something from Boyz 2 Men or INSYNC.

Did Ozzy release crap in the 90s?

Cotton Eyed Joe

Hated it in 8th grade and still hate it.  Always by Bon Jovi is another one.  That's a whole nothing of a song even by their ballad standards.

I LOVE ALWAYS

I liked Ozzy's albums in the '90s. I'd put in a vote for Achy Breaky Heart.

The worst song is probably something I've expunged and don't even remember, but some schmaltzy crap like "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" or some other pop pablum.

I would have included it if it weren't a 2000 song.  Might as well add Crazy Town's Butterfly for it's lazy sampling of Pretty Little Ditty by Red Hot Chili Peppers and that cringe lyric about Sid and Nancy.

Remember that follow up to Vogue from the Dick Tracy soundtrack by Madge?  Yeah, that song deserves a bad spanking.  Even worse than that American Life crap from 2003.

Steven Tyler is the most pathetic classic rock sellout ever.  Boner from U2 is a close 2nd.

So many to choose from. Least favorite, not worst, right?

Wonderwall - Oasis                                                      I've never liked Liam Gallagher's voice

You Oughta Know-  Alanis Morrisette                       Too much bitterness to absorb in one song; the Dave Coulier thing is creepy

Can You Take Me Higher-  Creed                               I'm a big Mark Tremonti fan, but not a Scott Stapp fan.  As my dad used to say about that style of singing- "They're gonna bust a lung!"

One More Time-     Britney Spears                             Pushed into inappropriate songs at the age of 16 by family and management

I think Steven knew exactly how much money and fame he wanted right from the start.

Exactly. Aerosmith was successful right from the start. So that's why I'm curious as to when people think they sold out. Aerosmith was always huge, so how exactly did Tyler sell out? I hate when people say that too. Do you not want to make as much money as you can in your profession and be as successful as possible? Well, that's exactly what he's always done. You can't fault him for that.

Immediately after their collaboration video with run dmc. They started churning out rubbish songs imo that were more about the video than the music.

Just my opinion and not saying it's bad to cash in but I can't think of a single song post walk this way with run dmc I like.

Your mileage may vary...
