Journey. I despise Bon Jovi.

You sound like a 12 year old edgelord

As a band, Journey easily. As agents of a particular, not-very-interesting-strain of music, but exquisite purveyors of hair-spray style and bombast, Bon Jovi.

7800 Fahrenheit is an underrated album, though.

oh i should have said the perry years.

Bon jovi's f kinda gets hit or miss for me after Crush to be honest.

I enjoy journey's 96 album Trial by fire more than most. i'm kinda half and half on Keep the Faith as an album. These days is perfect.

And even 80's BJ is a bit mixed. love the debut. not so much the 2nd album. Slippery is great but over exsposed. New Jersey is their 80's Masterpiece IMO.

Damn

You just made me realise I think I love Journey and Bon Jovi about the same.

It boils down to this: Infinity Vs anything I love by Bon Jovi.

I actually think Infinity is enough to sway me!

it boils down to a couple things for me.

1. i loved journey first (it shouldn't matter but it IS a factor, lol)

2. Infinity-Raised on Radio is a mad good run and i fid that run flawless....mostly. Bon jovi at their best.......is still a little rocky to me. still amazingly good but there are albums i could leave.

For me, Journey easily wins this.

But I've always like this BJ tune.

I read somewhere that they wanted to use it for Young Guns 2 but they couldn't (I forgot the reason). So, Blaze of Glory was specifically written for the movie.

I had that soundtrack and quite enjoyed it. There were a lot of stripped-down tracks on it that were pretty cool.

And it’s not even the band, but solo. His follow up, Miracle, is worth mentioning for Jeff Beck on guitar.

Journey, at least they didn’t go for a bland pop country sound like Bon Jovi and Steven Tyler have done lately.
