bluefox4000
I don't know if he did or not......but Ged could have used vocal lessons in the 70's. Cause he was really hurting himself. Sure it sounded cool. but he and all of us are paying for it these days. All be it he was better this tour.......some nights, lol Mick
lachrymal
Rush's recent mainstream acceptance is a bad thing overall. Neil's political opinions were more rational when he was a big Ayn Rand fan. Alex is the most musically talented member of the band.

RUSHHEAD666
The transition from pre-chorus to chorus for Witch Hunt is literally a musical orgasm. The GUP live performance is the best live performance of Rush and Geddy's voice was at it's peak around that time period. 80s was the best decade for Rush because of the willingness they had to experiment. Even traversing into Duran Duran, A Flock Of Seagulls, and Frankie Goes To Hollywood territory to write songs that could be played in a dance club, yet still be powerful musically. Even Alex's talents were well showcased with pretty against the grain chord patterns and solos. That's funny dude. Many Rush Fans on this Forum hate "Witch Hunt." The song is bloody brilliant! I don't understand human beings.
RUSHHEAD666
Vapor Trails is a masterpiece, and Earthshine is a better song than Hemispheres. I think I might vomit pea soup all over my bedroom tonight. I can't believe my eyes. I wish I never went on this thread. I hope you are sarcastic. If not well, enjoy "St. Anger" I mean "VT." While they were at it they could replace Alex with Joe Jonas and Neil with Justin Bieber. :eyeroll:

Segue Myles
Feedback is better than some of Rush"s original works... ;) I would take it over both Snakes And Arrows and Clockwork Angels. Some prefer live albums, so why not a covers album?

I see two chimpanzees embracing, a butterfly between them, surrounded by two red guitars. In the centre is a mummified face wearing sunglasses I can't believe how many different things you guys are coming up with when the black ink clearly depicts a woman's pelvic bone. I can deal with the red ink being a bow tie. With a couple of party favors in the upper corners. That what those are.

Yup Best Geddy vocals? Yup Best sense of melody? Yup Best use of rabbits on an album cover? Yup CA has nothing to offer that the band haven't already done better before, and up against other albums of the last few years, it has already been forgotten by all but the fan base it seems.
