  1. Happy birthday to the man Alex once referred to as "the world's only true Rush fan" Mr. Geddy's Soul Patch! Shake Lee hand!
  2. That would be nice. Would it? What if 2 and 2 isn't 4?
  3. He had to start his own birthday thread... how tragic. Happy birthday Rage Kage!
  4. As maybe one or two of you know, GSP is my beloved cousin. Here he is rockin' out courtesy of S. Claus!
  5. Just wait, in a few years it'll be time for Olivia to see what daddy does...

Sorry for bumping a year old debate, but i disagree. He had all his range and power, to me, all the way up to the Hemispheres album. Listen to the Canadian Bacon bootleg (12/10/1977), The Different Stages live album (2/20/1978) or the Providence 1978 bootleg (1/12/1978) to see that he still had it. It wasn't until the tour where he went downhill. For instance, compare 2112 from one of the bootlegs mentioned to Black Forest (5/28/1979), and you'll see. Debating a ghost eh? The ghost of Christmas past. I hope Scrooge will change his ways, Spaghetti for everyone!
  7. Rush's recent mainstream acceptance is a bad thing overall. Neil's political opinions were more rational when he was a big Ayn Rand fan. Alex is the most musically talented member of the band.
  8. Clockwork Angels is a bottom tier Rush album.

    Rush-Like Songs

I've always thought this song bites Rush pretty hard (not anywhere near the quality of course):

Like that song !! I've never heard it before . . . thanks If you haven't checked out The Mars Volta you're in for a treat! Deloused in the Comatorium and Frances the Mute are unbelievable albums!
  11. I went through a phase like that too, Lorraine. I heard they call it puberty... Yes. :) eh what? Guys... I am 25 years old... I am not in puberty. Why would I say that I love it just because you guys hate it? I donĀ“t give a rat ass of what you guys think about the songs! I don't give a "rat ass" what you think about them either. And still this is like your fifth thread about Xanadu.... You got some real problems... The Prince has spoken!! Mind the prince! Mind ya f***in mannahs yah queeh! Go feck yuh'self yuh f***in piece of shite!
  12. If you knew what has been happening "behind the scenes", you'd have a very different take on it. This IS the end. Neil will NEVER tour again. Take that to the bank. This still isn't official and can never be official, you understand that right? I am pretty sure you don't work for the band I think it's your friends with someone who does? Even if you do it's still hearsay and that's why it can't be taken to the bank. Because you aren't Rush. Stage 1: Denial Stage 1 is anger: "f***in' captain Ed! Joint sucker, f***in' cocksmoker!" "Probably not even a captain" "Did you see how f***in' fat that f***in' lardass was?" The second stage is denial.
  13. It's about everything . . . that we don't see. Every time you see something, there are things that you don't see, simultaneously. Like right now there are things behind you, things above you, things . . . inside you. Things betwixt the air itself life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on
  14. Tool. Their music is just perfect for me, I love it.
