The lost 1979 RUSH mystery album which had the working title of Greensheeves and the Bladesmith's Naughty Daughter and The Knifemaker's Guild but was actually called The Swordsmith Chronicles named after the title track. Here's the tracklisting:

All Beatles albums from A Hard Day's Night through to Abbey Road.

 

Emili Sande's debut.

 

Fleetwood Mac's Tusk.

 

 

 

But just one album? Grrrrr...

 

The two most mindblowing albums that i love are Khoma's The Second Wave and Thrice's Vheissu.

No mater how often I hear the record, Dirt from Alice in Chains remains one of my all-time favourites. There is not one song of lesser quality on the album, and the music is so compelling.

Crazy...but I saw the thread title and that was the album that came to mind. Open the thread and low and behold...

Merriweather Post Pavilion by Animal Collective

 

Even the cover art is mind blowing considering it is (as far as I know) the only animated cover art in existence. People who have seen it know what I'm Talking about.

In addition to Every Picture Tells a Story, The The's Soul Mining is incredible, at least after you get the first song out of the way.

Great one, Goose! That's tied for my favorite Oils album with Capricornia and E&S&M.

Glad to hear it, they are my favorite band after all. Which songs did you already know to like them? Also, you still have not told me what you thought of Oingo Boingo.
