GeddysMullet Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 I originally called a four-way tie for this and figured I wouldn't vote, but after much thought, I managed to choose Hemispheres in the poll on the strength of it having especially powerful significance to me emotionally. It's really only a split hair above Clockwork Angels, A Farewell To Kings and 2112 for me though. The rest of my list goes like this:2. Fly by Night - Such a fun song, and of course you've got to love Geddy's young voice in full squeak.3. Presto - On the strength of the Time Machine version, which turned the "meh" studio version into a song for me.4. Roll The Bones - Not a huge favourite, but also a fun song5. Vapor Trail - I think this song will probably rise on the list if I ever get hold of the improved version.6. If I answered it as "Which song is the best (i.e. the most original / creative / inventive - even if you don't like the song)" my answer might be a little different then the one I am recording below. That being said, my vote goes for 2112. The entire list of my votes would be as follows: 1. 21123. Presto3. FBN4. AFTK5. T4E6. Hemispheres7. Clockwork Angeles8. RTB9, VT By the way, if I answered the question as "Which song is the best (i.e. the most creative etc)" it would not impact my vote in the poll. 2112 would still get the vote.
