Right now, and tomorrow, Bell's Amber Ale.

Tonight at a friends dinner party, a mix six of Bell's Amber, Founders All Day IPA, & Bell's Special Double Cream Stout.

With Italian dinner tomorrow, Lambrusco and Moscato. Finish with a nice Arturo Fuente. cigar and some Armagnac.

Had a couple of glasses of (Aldi) Bucks Fizz, now on (Aldi) Taurus Cider. Bought some Jim Beam Apple - smells nice, not tasted yet, also bought some Absolut Raspberry and (Aldi) Clarke's 1866 Bourbon. And some Carlsberg Export for the missus. Edited by metallithrax

Glenmorangie, the Quinta Ruban expression, which a friend shipped to me for Christmas. Frankly, it tastes just like The Macallan. I'm going to have to do a side-by-side comparison one of these days...

On New Year's Eve, I'll be celebrating with Martinelli's Sparkling Apple/Peach cider...LOVE THAT STUFF!!! Non-alcoholic of course! I haven't gotten drunk on alcohol since March of '99!

Gift from a friend who works at a Japanese restaurant. Definitely different. :)

That is one of two types of beer that I usually have at Chateau Blaze. Here is the other:

Just stay away from Asahi Super Dry. Japan's Budweiser and nearly as shitty.

^ I had Sapporo a couple weeks ago for the first time and enjoyed it. I don't know where I'm going to find that beer, but I'll try BevMo for sure.

Tonight it's a usual favorite: Coors Banquet

Probably the two biggest beers in Japan are Asahi SuperDry and Kirin.

As I said in my other post, I think Asahi Super Dry is pretty crap. Kirin's decent though I much more prefer the other two I mentioned earlier. Still, I'm no beer snob and no way would I turn my nose up at any offered.

If Japanese restaurants in North America serve Japanese beers I imagine the 3 they'd offer would be Asahi, Kirin, and Sapporo.

I had Kirin the night I bought R40 Live. It was okay, but I'll try something like Sapporo next the next time I go to the supermarket which has Japanese beer.
