Goose Autumn Ale!

Goose, I didn't know you made delicious beer :P

Goose Island makes a fine beer -- their IPA is quite good. It's a shame they sold their soul to Anheuser-Busch.

Still haven't acquired the taste for IPAs yet...too bitter.

IPA and darker is some delicious stuff. :hail:

I like anything from pilsners (Victory makes an excellent one) to imperial stouts. All depends on my mood, and what food is being paired with it (if food is involved). The only style I can't get on board with is Belgian, with the exception of Chimay (red label).

Madhouse made a honey pilsner that I really liked. I like most of the dark beers I have tried, but anything as hoppy as the IPAs I've tried are just too bitter. Tried a Confluence IPA at a baseball game and I had to eat a snow cone as the chaser. Nasty.

American IPAs can be too hoppy. It took me forever to like them. Indian pales are nice, and that's what got me into them. Now I can take the bitterness of an IPA.

I'll look for that Goose Island.

Right now I'm dipping into that 24 of Newcastle I got. I do love a good brown.

As much as I'm more of a Blue Moon person myself, I agree.

Whipped up some French Vanilla Martinis for the Lovely Wife and myself. She had a rough (and long!) day at work, so she deserved it.

Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Chambord raspberry liqueur, pineapple juice.

More of a Scotch or bourbon man myself, but these are nice changes of pace once a while.

Once you go black, you sometimes go back, but mainly stay for the blackness.

no natty ice for bathory's birthday

I had never heard of "natty ice." Urban Dictionary to the rescue!

"A trailor-trash beer that no one would drink if it wasn't so cheap and didn't have a little bit higher alcohol content than the standard.

Natty Ice is even worse than Canadian beer."

On my way to a wedding celebration, so who knows what's on tap for tonight. Anything and everything, potentially.

Bottoms up. Looking forward to your drunk posts in a few hours.

I resemble that remark.
