A bunch of different expensive champagnes. I'm not the right audience for this kind of stuff--I didn't like most of them. And seriously, I would have preferred some good beer or red wine.

What is it paired with? Yummy chocolates or strawberries?

Nice selection! The coffee stout looks like a winner!

And this one...

Due South is local, and the Caramel cream is good . Didn't try the coffee stout, but did have a Duck Rabbit Milk Stout that was very nice!

I wish, then at least I would have had chocolates or strawberries to enjoy :D This was just the champagne.

Meh. We used to go to a champagne & chocolate festival every year that was really fun.

Just coffee tonight, exams tomorrow. Will probably require some alcohol tomorrow night for post-mortem.

Yep. Didn't bring enough lube for that test.

Fat Tire

Gin and something to put it in

Stay tuned...

Lovely Wife and I took the Grandspawn out to his fave Japanese hibachi joint tonight. I think he loves it far more the cooks' antics than the food ;)

Anyway, they had just added the Glenlivet Nàdurra 16-year to their lineup so I just HAD to try it, even though they were charging me $10 for an ounce and a half! I found it big, bold, and obviously far more interesting than the standard and rather pedestrian Glenlivet. The notes I picked up on the nose and palate almost never agree with the what the experts say, but screw them. I got strong maple and some honey on the nose, and the chocolatey caramel on the palate was a surprise.

Goose, have you tried this?
