ReRushed
The only thing wrong with this album is that Led Zeppelin did not give credit where credit was due.
Entre_Perpetuo
Excellent, game changing. Hard to top. I like its follow up better though. Edited January 14, 2019 by Entre_Perpetuo

All music is derivative of something else.I'm not talking about being derivative. I am talking about giving credit where credit is due. The fact is Zeppelin didn't do that. It's clear as day. Oh yeah, did I hurt your feelings to deserve to be responded to by an expletive? Have a nice day.
J2112YYZ
The only thing wrong with this album is that Led Zeppelin did not give credit where credit was due. Oh shut the f**k up. All music is derivative of something else. Sure, but having music and lyrics that were recorded by other artists in their songs is not derivative, it's plagiarism. Now, it's possible they were just paying homage to who influenced them and maybe they didn't think it was a big deal or that nobody would notice. Perhaps they themselves didn't even realize they were doing it when recording. But multiple times they've been called out for using other people's material. They're were a great enough band that most fans, myself included let it slide. If it wasn't for Zeppelin most of us wouldn't know about the existence of the songs they took from anyways. It certainly caused some controversy but Zeppelin is still responsible for putting out some of the finest rock albums we will ever hear. The debut is great but I think the five albums that came after blow it away.
ReRushed
"Dazed and Confused" was further adapted by Page's new group for their debut album, Led Zeppelin. It became a signature song and concert staple for much of the group's career. Holmes attempted to contact Page in the 1980s regarding the songwriting credit, but received no response. In 2010, Holmes filed a lawsuit and the matter was settled out of court, with the credit on Led Zeppelin releases being changed to "Jimmy Page, inspired by Jake Holmes". It took over four decades for Page to give credit where credit was due. Sad.
