Synchronicity II is also tons of fun.
grep
AC/DC - Soulstripper. KISS - Cold Gin. Both KISS and Molly Hatchett's versions of Hide Your Heart. (yes, really. It's a catchy little pop-metal tune). Kansas - Carry On Wayward Son. Edit: Never Mind. I didn't realize that this thread was for songs one is actually playing. Well then... Jacob's Ladder. 25 or 6 to 4. Metallica's Orion. One of my own called 'Reverse Assembly'. Still working out what the guitar and drum parts would be, But I have the overall structure and the bass part down. Mostly the synths too. It's a Sabbath meets Deep Purple sounding track... or at least it will be. Another of my own called '40'. I'm writing this one in a MIDI sequencer (Reaper actually), and then will figure out the bass part. Envision it will be like a Xanadu meets SOR. Super25Smasher
Metallica's Orion.Damn... you must be a skilled bassist. I love Cliff Burton, but can play nothing like him on my bass.
Disk98
Metallica's Orion.Damn... you must be a skilled bassist. I love Cliff Burton, but can play nothing like him on my bass.I keep attempting Orion but it always ends up being a complete mess. So I usually end up playing the main riff (the one that starts around 0:56) and taking it into YYZ. :) Edited June 2, 2016 by Disk98

Thank you, but no not at all. Still learning - and trying to figure it out. In truth, I haven't even really been keeping up my practice regimen since Christmas time. But a couple of times a week I pick up the bass and run through the riffs that I know....

Even just from looking at the tabs. Cliff was clearly influenced.
JARG
A current instrumental I'm working on called The 4 to 9 Evening Shift. It incorporates parts written in 4/4, 5/4, ... , 9/4. So far I have the "main themes" for 4, 7, and 5 written. The goal is to have all of this hammered out by end of tomorrow since I'm trying to put it into a Unity game I'm working on. Sounds cool. I've been working on an instrumental called Manifold Destiny, which has sections of 11/8, 5/8, 7/8, 9/8, and 4/8...in fact I thought it was complete until just about a day ago. Upon further listening, the whole thing sounds more like an intro than a completed song. Finally done. http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?/topic/99144-manifold-destiny/#entry4000324
