We used to do that one back in the day (as in when the song was current) -- I fretted it. It didn't occur to me back then to use a capo on the song!Other than the arpeggio part in the beginning, it seems like this would still be pretty easy without the capo. But don't want to disturb the purists!

That arpeggio is the only part that really needs a capo (or the guitar tuned up a whole step) -- ideally, you want the Eb and E on that third chord ringing out together. 1

But don't want to disturb the purists! It eventually (years later) occurred to me that I should have used a capo when I was messing around with a similar arpeggio in E. It was one of those "well duh" moments. 1

I am doing good on back up percusion of Happy House. I can play Call Me pretty well, all I have to do is work on the kick pattern. 2
