hunter Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 The first Boston record is great top to bottom. Hitch a Ride is one of my top five all time jams. That solo is perfect. I remember it fading out at the solo and fading back in after it switched tracks in the middle of the song on my 8 track. :codger: 1

Maverick Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 New list:Jive Talkin'Funky TownStayin' AliveLe FreakRock With You I'm looking forward to this mash up. Just remember, the chord for Funky Town is just Em7,not E7#9.
Blue J Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Oh Well - Peter Green, in the style of Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes. An excellent recording if you haven't heard it. They played that song at the Taft Theater in Cincinnati in 2007 (Jimmy Page was not with them then- but Oh Well). :P One of the very few shows I attended for which I don't have a recording. 1
Blue J Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I don't know if I have any jams, current or otherwise, because I usually play mellow stuff, and many more rhythm than lead parts. But I'll think of something. I really like playing Look Into the Sun, by Jethro Tull. I've been on a real Tull kick lately.

The Analog Cub Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Been showing my Yellow Fall Delay pedal more love. Dreamline, in the style of how it's done on Rio or R30, with that echo-ey improv session before the solo. Then a lot of Pink Floyd - Run Like Hell ala Pulse, though I've been experimenting with more sounds to kinda "make it my own". Mostly messing with the coil taps and my overdrive pedals so it doesn't sound so clean. I can just keep playing that open D triplet forever while I fiddle with the gear. 2
The Analog Cub Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Also, Changes by Trevor Rabin Yes! 2
Blue J Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I don't know how much of a 'jam' you might consider it to be, but I do- Oh Sweet Nuthin, by The Velvet Underground.
