Pick just one! and maybe a runner up.

No laundry lists... *cough*...goobs... *cough*

This was really hard but the first album cover that I remember being obsessed with as a kid was Zeppelin II. Mom bought this for me when I was 7 years old and I would listen to the record and stare at the cover for hours.

This was my uncle's album that I found in my grandmother's basement when I was around 7-8. I also found a record player so I used to listen to it all the time and stare at the cover.

That's the one! It used to frighten the life out of me.

And the gorilla holding the bomb on the back cover of Status Quo's Piledriver was another one.

This was one my first ever albums by a band. I was always curious about the images tied to each member on the cover. I still don't know.

The Beatles HELP cover wub.gif

I think I watched that movie a few hundred times in grade school. I was infatuated with George and Paul, and I wanted John's hat.

Honestly, I don't know which one I was first obsessed with as there were a lot, but the first album that I ever bought (or asked my parents to buy for me) was this one, and I was pretty obsessed by the cover when I was 7 or 8:

I still am a kid.

But I'll say Tales from Topographic Oceans. Amazing cover... Roger Dean's best. smile.gif

That one plus these 2 I saw all at once when I was 5 back in '77:

How could a kid already obsessed with comic books and hearing his big bro's rock & roll records all day not fall in love with a Kiss album cover?

this was another one I used to stare at all day. art by the great HR Giger who was responsible for the design of the Alien movies.

My dad had baught it for me on cassete! (that's right!) I'd spend hours staring at the cover, and being confused by the fact there are two groups of Beatles (the Pepper ones and the "Love Me do" one the left)

A work of art.
