circumstantial tree
Do you have any favorite bands whose careers were short but you wished could have been longer? I think for me, Kitchens of Distinction and the Dream Academy had short careers but both bands put out some really good material. I think each band were dropped from their labels due to poor sales. Invisible To Telescopic Eye
I listened to it 20 years ago but never really "got it" or was terribly fond of it....For some reason I now find myself interested in Nirvana....Wonder what would have become of them had things gone differently. danielmclark
They have a good number of albums so I don't know if it's considered "short", but the Afghan Whigs. I only discovered them shortly after their final album came out, so it's short to me, if nothing else

Tommy Sawyer
Boston (Needed more albums.) Khan -I haven't actually heard their 1 album yet, but they've got Steve Hillage and great reviews on progarchives, so they've got to be pretty good. Jake2112
Ones immediately to mind are Cream and Armageddon (Keith Relf's post Yardbirds band). Armageddon's 1975 debut is definitely worth checking out
