Texas King
Which song is BETTER to your ears? For me Freewill all the way, because Lifeson's guitar work and Geddy's bass work stand out much more in this song than RB. I always find RB to be a bit overrated and overpraised song on this forum and elsewhere. So Freewill for the win!!! Cyclonus X-1
Freewill, but it's close.
Fridge
Both fantastic songs, but if I had to pick one song that showcased neatly and succinctly all that was good about Rush, t would be Freewill, so that one gets the nod.
vaportrailer
Musically, Red Barchetta has a lot going for it; great playing, cool structure. But I find the lyrics distracting: "gleaming alloy air-car", "for fifty odd years", and of course the song's first 6 syllables.Would be interesting to hear it as an instrumental.Freewilly! "Jump Free Willy jump! Jump with all your might!"

Brucey
Prefer Red Barchetta as a whole song, but I feel a wee bit guilty not voting for possibly the best instrumental section in any Rush song in the middle of Freewill.
Lucas
Tough, but I go with Freewill

ReRushed
Wow. I don't think I can make a choice. If I choose not to decide, have I still have made a choice?

treeduck
Red Barchetta winning at the moment after looking like it was getting it's ass kicked at first. it was 6-0 Freewill when I voted... :hail:
IwillchooseFreeWill
Since my Screen-name says I will Choose Free Will, I guess I will but a note or two. But Red Barchetta appeals to my fast driving genes
Mosher
Since Red Barchetta is my least favorite song on Moving Pictures, and Freewill is my second favorite on Permanent Waves, this was an incredibly easy call.
TexMike
Much as I love Freewill, it's an easy call. RB.
