  10. Ed Sheeran- ÷ Segue made me plays this. I know sheeran is a punchline these days. is this groundbreaking pop? no. it's quite by the numbers. but i really enjoy him all the same. I LOVE his songwriting basic as it is. it makes me feel strangely at ease and stress free. So he's writing basic pop? no blazing solos or flashy chord changes but who really cares? i enjoy it and will continue too. No less valid than those who fairly find it boring. Mick

  11. Excuse me, I eat like a POC in a bi-racial civil union with another POC in a breakfast cereal commercial. Two more bi-racial kids, possibly in a way that doesn't make sense, with a woke dog, five beverages and a cube of soy on the table. Last nights' dinner: potatoes, salmon, edamame. Tonights' dinner: chicken garlic with brown rice, avocado, broccoli. #helth I've read nutrition fact labels since I was 12, but I was always looking at sodium. Didn't realize just how much saturated fat are in fun things until I started paying attention to that. My beloved 6.5oz starbucks doubleshot cans have 1/5th of a days' saturated fat, dammit!

  12. One of the best made for TV movies ever. I saw it when it premiered, and when that scene came on I was of course glued to the TV. Just after David Soul opened the coffin, the movie was interrupted by the network for some bullshit special report and I missed the whole scene. They couldn't have timed that any worse -- it was like they waited to cut in at that exact moment just to troll everybody. I didn't get to see that scene until years later as YouTube or Netflix hadn't been invented yet. I was a huge fan of Starsky and Hutch too. RIP David.

  13. So, thoughts on Bedard being the youngest All-Star selection? (Ever? In years? I've forgotten the specifics). Is it tokenism, or does the Wunderkind deserve it?

  14. So did Jonathan Silverman, Jeremy Piven and Helen Slater, even though they all got shot dead, Slater was shot dead twice. Martin Landau stayed dead though when he got killed, he blew up.

  20. Salem's Lot scene in the vampire's lair, very reminiscent of the original Nosferatu stuff. Very scary.

  33. Finished the last two right before Christmas. Had no idea Melissa had played with Smashing Pumpkins. Novoselic is a huge guy, he lives an eccentric life in the country. Hope there will be more episodes.

  35. Finished watching this last night. All four are hugely talented people across a wide and interesting range of pursuits. As someone who requires a lengthy period of motivation to merely hang up a picture, I must confess to being supremely envious.
