ILSnwdog Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Playing Steel The Light. This is wonderful! I get a Dokken vibe from the vocals. What great stuff!! I envy those who lived through the eighties. And earlier. I Wouldn't wish the 80s on my worst enemy. Fashion-wise, for sure! I just went to a 30th wedding anniversary and in pictures of the original wedding I'm sporting a nullet and wearing a ridiculous Miami Vice sportscoat. Yellow, of course. Probably wearing pink loafers, too!Nothing, and I repeat, nothing was worse than the 70s! http://cdn2.retrowaste.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/1970s-Mens-Fashion.jpghttp://www.thepeoplehistory.com/7kf/1970boysclothes.jpghttp://c8.alamy.com/comp/AAM9NH/1970-1970s-young-man-3-4-full-portrait-moustache-necklace-casual-clothes-AAM9NH.jpghttp://img.topyaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/bell-bottoms.jpg Every decade looks back at the previous ones and how goofy the fashions look to them. Usually the most outlandish stuff is pulled up for comparison. Par for the course. But this is nowhere as bad as leasure suits and plaid. Lots of plaid. http://www.simplyeighties.com/resources/Don%20Johnson%20White%20Suit.jpg.opt216x270o0,0s216x270.jpghttp://www.liketotally80s.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/making-the-grade-1984.jpghttp://liketotally80s.wikispaces.com/file/view/1249662581-hughes_breakfastclub.jpg/192341690/1249662581-hughes_breakfastclub.jpg 1

Rutlefan Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 ^ Yeah, I remember going to movies in the late '70s and early '80s and thinking, who dresses like that!? I think even at the time we'd look at plaid polyester suit ads and laugh, it isn't just in hindsight. 1
