None of those options applies to me.

I like both the early years and the perry years. Just like.

Me too!

Did you find this thread again through the "also tagged with" thing at the bottom of the Aerosmith thread, or is that just a coincidence, lol?

No, it's just a coincidence.

Oh...darn

I really like this one-two combo of pop-rock goodness.

The catchiest part of the song(s) is the a Capella transition between them, at least, that's what I always hear in my head when I read the title.

"FEELING THAT WAY! - OO-OOH, ANYTIME THAT YOU WANT ME"

Somehow, on Greatest Hits, they only include one of the two tracks. :eh:

I won't vote because there is no description about how I feel about them. I like them quite a bit but wouldn't say they are one of my absolute favorites. I don't just like the early prog stuff either; I like well past that but haven't heard anything after raised on radio. I actually might see them later this year(for the first time) with Asia opening.

Funny how I stayed up till 4 fukking in the morning last night to watch the RARHOF 2017.

I loved the Journey segment and hypocritically living in the Bay Area my whole life I just can't stand Arnel or Perry or Augeri.

Just give me the first three albums.

I love what Schon said last night or someone.

They were like Santana and The Grateful Dead on steroids.

They needed a frontman and they found Perry. I respect Perry and I thought he was going to sing with the band at the induction but it was fuckking Arnel.

WEAK

Seeing Dunbar and Smith there was amazing.

I loved Journey when I was a kid.

Now as an adult I can only listen to the first three albums and "Infinity."

After that?

ALL CRAP

No wonder Steve Smith left to pursue Vital Information......

I pretty much fûcking hate Journey (and .38 special and Foghat and basically all those "classic rock" clichè state fair playing shithöle bands) in all its forms and guises and avoid it at all costs.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

You crack me up!

I hate Journey too.

But fuckk I just listened to the first five FOGHAT albums tonight.

WTF?

Classic f***ing blues hard rock.

I get it after NIGHTSHIFT, but man, FOGHAT FUCKKING RULED

.38 Special had three great records, then were pure junk.

Hey! To each their own!

I love AOR COCK ROCK!

Get in line and swallow the audio load.

Audio Visions by Kansas totally kicks ass

Even if you are a pussy and listen to "Heart Of Glass."

Please don't get mad at me because you are uptight and a fruit.

It's not how you act,

But it's how you look good in a three piece suit.

Don't dis me, just ask the pimp Sammy Hagar.

So many of you brainwashed idiots love that fuckking tool.

The first Montrose album was brilliant but after that

I would rather just drown in a placid pool.

"In The Air Tonight" will endlessly play

Even though Phil Collins has arthritis like Neil

But a new Genesis album shall be out someday.

"Heavy Metal" noise will be played throughout the Milky Way.

Like the way milky thighs are licked and sprayed.

Oh "Standing Hampton" is good, but I love all of his Capital Records shit.

Get in line you Van Hagar Tits

A new tour is coming for you!

Grab your American Express card and charge that fuckking thing until you "do it until you're Black And Blue..."

Don't you find it strange that he let the other guy in the PeeWee Herman suit sing? Maybe Steve can't belt it out anymore. It would have been quite the moment if he had sung those songs with the band.

They had a big appeal back then, and they are one of the only, if not maybe the only, band that crossed lines. By that I mean that no matter what style of music someone listened mostly to back then, one thing in common with all was their fondness for Journey. At least where I lived. Not saying it was the same all over.

1981 was the year I went from 45 RPM singles and AM radio to LPs/cassettes and FM radio.

KMET/KLOS in Los Angeles became my new favorite stations, and I got really into what they were playing...at least the current stuff. My obsession with 70s rock would come later.. Rush, Van Halen, Ozzy, Triumph, Benatar, Stones, you name it...

I remember buying 4 (Foreigner), Asia, and Escape (Journey) and playing them over and over. I was 10-11 years old. Biking around my neighborhood with my Walkman. :D
