Fridge Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Dunkirk....it's not often i use the word "masterpiece" to describe a film, but this was thoroughly deserving of the term. Truly epic both in scale and poignancy. 3
invisible airwave Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 (edited) It’s as bad and boring as people have said. Screw Hack Snyder. Edited December 26, 2017 by invisible airwave 1
JohnnyBlaze Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 It’s as bad and boring as people have said. Screw Hack Snyder. Definitely a piece of crap. As for Snyder, I still got some enjoyment out of his first three: Dawn of the Dead remake, 300, and Watchmen. Since then it’s almost as if he’s gotten worse and worse. 1
Rod in Toronto Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Not the most Christmasy film to watch, but I liked it for what it was:
EagleMoon Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 The Last Jedi. Huuuuge yawn. This franchise needs to die. 1
ReRushed Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Scott Walker: 30th Century Man [7/10] I still can't wrap my brain around the praise some give this man. I do like some of his music, but, boy oh boy, is most of it pretentious crap.
Rod in Toronto Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 This one was great, but I kept wondering if viewers who haven´t seen The Room will be able to enjoy it. Watching it made me want to read the book! 1
workingcinderellaman Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Not too bad: I liked it more than I thought I would. 2
workingcinderellaman Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 This one was great, but I kept wondering if viewers who haven´t seen The Room will be able to enjoy it. Watching it made me want to read the book! Probably not. I watched a review on this and the critic said the same thing. (I haven't seen The Room)
workingcinderellaman Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 The Last Jedi. Huuuuge yawn. This franchise needs to die. If they stop making Star Wars movies, the franchise will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. 1
Principled Man Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Star Wars: The Phantom Menace — My mother really wants to watch it.....
EagleMoon Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 The Last Jedi. Huuuuge yawn. This franchise needs to die. If they stop making Star Wars movies, the franchise will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. Like a silent fart.
bluefox4000 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) White House Down. Or as i call it Die hard at the White house. it Was a fun flick though. really enjoyed it. Seriously if you tweaked a few things made the character John Mclane you would have a worthy Die Hard flick. Mick Edited December 30, 2017 by bluefox4000 1
Principled Man Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Gawd.....that wonderful dialogue.....
lerxt1990 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Llr32cc7Js This was stellar! I haven't seen anything before that gives the kind of insight into method acting like this does. Jim reveals how becoming Andy Kaufman changed him and those around him. Just fascinating... I just saw that too - was extremely interesting.
