I read about the cancellation. Immediately after they announced it, the conspiracy theory that the band was actually breaking up in the middle of the tour came up. Hopefully Dave feels Ok for the 25th.

Glenn put on a hell of a show, and at 64 years old, it's a miracle he can still sing in the stratosphere, especially after so many years of drug abuse. And he's a mean bass player too!

As I posted in the "What Made You Sad Today" thread my son has gone with his girlfriend to Clemson in search of Masters Degrees in their chosen studies. The nest is now empty here. He sent me this pic of he and his girlfriend in front of their house there. I know he is a bit scared and excited at the same time. The unknown and living with your significant other for the first time. I hardly remember when it was my wife and I for the first time it's been so long. Really proud of him though...

BTW originally a Marylander and a lifelong Terps fan it's a bit bittersweet seeing him in that t shirt. Could have been worse and been Duke...

It loooks like Tony the tiger took a shit on him. Ugh.

I spent the last 6 days or so up in Greensboro NC at the PGA tour event The Wyndham Championship. It was a great time and I got to see some excellent professional golf. The first photo is in front of an area near to the clubhouse were they have some artist make cool sand sculptures every day. The bottom photo is me standing next to a bust of Donald Ross who designed Sedgefield CC back in 1926 were the tournament was played. Mr. Ross was one of the most famous golf course architects of all time and designed many classics that still stand the test of time to this day. Was a very fun and exhausting week for me and a once in a lifetime experience to watch Tiger Woods play 5 rounds of golf... :codger:

Yeah, he looks very healthy. His arms look bigger. I hope he feels better than he did when we met in Atlanta. His medical condition seemed to be overwhelming him at the time, which would have happened to any of us being stuck in a cast so long.

You folks are way to kind. Making my day and more for sure and "great shape" is a relative term. Maybe I just look a bit better than I feel most of the time. Trying my @ss off to keep it together is all. Thanks for the love guys and gals. I am humbled to be honest... :sigh: :codger:

Me and sitboaf - the first TRFer I ever met in real life. We are at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio, where we went to see a soccer match. This is the stadium where Rush in Rio was recorded, and where the World Cup finals of 1950 and 2014 were held:

I made sure to wear my Rush shirt so there was no mistaking me!

Rod in Rio (Rodrigo) was a fabulous host and ambassador for his home country. My family and I benefitted greatly from his advice. Rio is the most gorgeous place, and we met so many friendly and wonderful people there. Trip of a lifetime! (Not that it will stop my wife and I from taking many more.)

Good pic!

I should dig up my old pics of the first TRFers I met: tick & Slacker. I went to Slacker's house but he wasn't there so I walked back towards the train station and saw them both standing in the dark nearly under a bridge...and me walking around that neighborhood with my huge backpacker's bag. Just sounds funny saying all of that.

Great pics Narps! I watched alot of the Wyndham because I knew it was a rare opportunity to see a FBN tat on live TV. Tiger had a chance to get into the Cup, then he implodes when the pressure is on. Looked like he was in discomfort.

Way to go DL3!

The Chuck Norris thing might work but I am pretty bald and he has all of his natural hair still...
