posted this in another thread, but it fits here, too

Played another great gig last night. Not only did we get an instant re-booking, but some guy in the audience rang his friend, who runs another venue, and said that he needed to book our band ASAP. :yay:

I got a new bed and slept it in for the first time. SO COMFORTABLE.

What kind of mattress?

It's a latex/innerspring hybrid mattress. Someone else in another thread posted a link to The Old Bed Guy (http://www.oldbedguy.com/) who recommended a particular mattress from Macy's. I went and tried it out and loved it, and it was hugely on sale so I got it.

Just got back from seeing Gabriel Iglesias (FLUFFYYYYYY!). Awesome, awesome show. Went an hour over his required time (and showed the clock to the audience) and took questions and did his best loved jokes at the end of the show. The rest of the show was all new material. A must see if he's in your area.

Did all the yard work......FINALLY. All trimming, mowing, and quite a bit of lawn patching.

And the Toppers girl drove up to deliver a pizza order, which had been lost several months ago. Apparently, they entered the wrong MONTH on the original order.....

Our city had our annual Relay For Life cancer walk this weekend. We are the only 24 hour Relay in Canada. I've been attending this event for the last 15 years, and this year, I hit a personal high, walking for 11 hours and 40 kms.. It hurts to move today, but it is worth it.

Edit: I forgot to add, this was the 24th year of the event, and they set a new record, raising $505,000
