I won't call it a top fave pop/rock album of mine but it's the only Asia album i like. after that pretty lackluster band.

Time Again and Sole Survivor are real good songs. The rest of the album is a little too vanilla for my taste.

 

And speaking of Soul Survivor, you have to admit, some of the lyrics in that one are not particularly...good?

I've listened to some Asia including their Asia c.d., and album, but not to all of their c.ds, albums, and music. I like their Asia c.d., and album. Sometimes, when I think of them, I think of Europe, and vice versa. I know both bands, and groups are different, but they both have their band's, and group's named of a continent. I think the second album is lot weaker actually. I remember buying it when it was first released and trying to like it as much as the first album.

I will say, Carl seems to get just a hair off from the rest of the band for a feed measures of Heat Of The Moment, but that song isn’t a top fav from the record for me anyway. I much prefer Only Time Will Tell.

I took my parents out for a wonderful steak dinner in San Francisco.

We then went to the Regency Ballroom.

It was a sold out show.

 

We had 15th row center seats for ASIA.

it was their last USA Tour before flying over to Japan.

As a rare treat and they didn't do this that much.

It was like RUSH playing "Losing it" on their R40 Tour. Oh Zepp, for your eyes only but others will read this.

I confess. I was third row at the LA Forum for the last RUSH Show. Alex side.

When they played "Losing It' well I fuckking lost it. I cried man. It was a dream come true to see that song live.

I saw three other shows on that tour. Nothing touched the LA Forum.

 

But now I've lost my train of thought. Isn't that a terrible Dream Theater Metallica ripoff record? HAHAHAHAHA! I fuckkin hate "Train For Thought."

Typical Dream Theater ripping off other bands because they ran out of ideas after "AWAKE." LOL!

My parents I saw and epic last show in SF.

 

They played the entire first ASIA album all the way through! It was incredible.

 

My dad bought a purple ASIA watch that plays the entire live concert somehow.
