I've been cognizant of this album for 40 plus years. It has never bored me. It's a wild listen with twist and turns, heights and depths and surprises that still intrigue and entertain me. In a way, it's all there. A rock music blueprint.

I would argue it's the greatest rock album of all-time. Of course, my current mood and mindset usually dictate how I vote in these polls. I loved The Beatles for a longer time than I loved London Calling. In the end, it's all nitpicking.

Love most of those albums, but I've got to go with Hendrix.

 

Electric Ladyland is very special to me, because constantly listening to it as a child made me want to play guitar (I used to mime to it, posing with a tennis racket )

The Beatles is my favorite studio album of all time. After that, I'd choose Exile. Then The Wall. Graffiti and Ladyland would fill out my top 5.
