I just got it too. I blew through the first three chapters just last night. It's a really difficult book to put down.

This was a great interview. I've been a fan of Morse ever since High Tension Wires came out in 1989. And I got Southern Steel on tape in 1991 and just about wore it out listening to it in my car. Interestingly, I mistook Vista Grande for Ghostwind (first song on High Tension Wires) because if had been so long since I'd heard either. I love songs of his like Southern Steel, Tumeni Notes, and especially Highland Wedding. Take It Off The Top from the Dixie Dregs live album Bring 'Em Back Alive is an all time favorite of mine. And I want to say Beato's interview with Andy Summers was great, as well. Now if he could just get Lee and Lifeson together (or separately.)

Yeah I saw this one and also the Andy Summers one. He starts off with a nice version of Vista Grande from the Southern Steel album. It was interesting listening to his stories about Jaco, Pat Metheny, Hiram Bullock and co.

Just got the Geddy Lee book for Christmas! Wondered if anyone else got it for Christmas? To be honest I would never have bought it myself (after being an astromancing uber-fan for 40+ years I know a lot of the lore and also I'm afraid to know everything because it might ruin the mystery a bit) but it was a nice thought and am about 40 pages in. Cheers!

Avs close out the year with a win over San Jose. MacKinnon still has his home game streak going (though the consecutive points stopped at 19 games December 29th) . Second only to Kucherov in total points and also leads in assists, so he's still clicking along nicely. Last two games have been grinders but a win is a win.

Didn't make my goal for reading this year, too many podcasts I guess. Managed 15 of 20. Only the second time since I started keeping a count, so on the whole not so bad. But it is depressing that I could read 80 books or more in a year when I was working and now that I am retired can barely make 40 (2022).

you don't have to feel crazy. i don't blame you for anything. PJ is incredibly talented. dthere's a reason they've endured after all. it's just where they went musically doesn't excite me. is that my failing? could be. Cause there are moments that catch me. i just find most albums a big chore to sit through. Mick
