My wife was only half-joking when she wondered "if we`ll all get washed away".

A bit cool this morning but will be in the 60's later today. Leaves are falling off the trees in earnest, beautiful blue skies. Got lots of rain earlier in the week, huge puddles in the driveway. Best of all it snowed in the mountains, our water year is looking up.

Full sunshine and nearly 60 degrees. First time we've not had rain in like 2 1/2 weeks. :dweez: :dweez: Edited by driventotheedge

The "atmospheric river" has apparently changed directions as it's not currently raining.

For a fukking change.

4.60 inches of rain in November and we're not even 1/2 way thru the month. :(

62 degrees and sunny yesterday. An all-time record for the date.

My wife's nephew and I went for a nice afternoon motorcycle ride. On December 1st even. :)

Unrecognizable weather today. The sky has a gray hue to it and appears to be releasing small drops of water. Can anyone explain what might be going on?

:P

A much needed storm.

it's been in the high 50's today after weeks of unusually hot weather, even for California in November standards. 90 degrees fahrenheit in November or December just feels depressing to me.

31 and sunny after a big snowstorm last night, about 8 inches. It looks like a winter wonderland, haven't seen this much snow in several years. Had to shovel off the steps and walkways twice and more is coming tomorrow. We sure need it and it makes it really seem like Christmas is almost here :D Edited by Rhyta

65° and humid in Western Wisconsin. The windy storm system should whoosh thru the area around 9:00 pm.

High of 30° tomorrow! No snow expected for at least the next two weeks, and I'm OK with that..... :sundog:

Update: The big storm system roared through the Minnesota/Wisconsin/Iowa region. Tornadoes on the Minnesota side of the River. Unconfirmed reports of tornadoes in my area. My little neighborhood appears to be unharmed. I don't even see any branches on the ground. :ebert:

It's going to be 75F here in the mid-midwest (where 30-year norm is more like 45). Windy, gusts up to 50mph.

. . . and today it's about 35F and only slightly breezy.

Near record highs and incredible humidity in DFW. Rain coming tonight with a front and much more seasonal temps this weekend. Thank goodness, I've been jonesing for a chili.

... blowing snow snakin' down the street this morning, sundogs came out to playay in the afternoon and it is a balmy minus thirtyish windchill. Football weather! wrap it up!

We actually got about a half inch of snow night before last. That's an occasion in this part of the world.

10 centimeters of snow, so far ... on the deck railing, and more on the way in the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley. I might have to shovel my way out tomorrow.

Roads are a sheet of thick ice under a layer of snow. 20 car pile up in Washoe Valley, I80 closed east and west.

Luckily I can walk where I need to be.
