goose Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 It's been hot and dry, which is great for AM paddle boarding, but the balance of the day from noon on is a little uncomfortable. 1
SeñorPieuPieuPieu Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 It's been raining almost nonstop for 3 months. Unsurprisingly, it's also raining today.
librarian Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 It's getting hot and humid and will stay so for the next few days. Pyuk! Doing as many chores as I can now so I can sit in the AC and enjoy a book or whatever else... 1
goose Posted June 8, 2021 Posted June 8, 2021 After a week in the 90s, today it is only around 70. Very pleasant. Back into the 80s this weekend. 1
Tinwoodsman Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 Thunderstorm on the Prairie! ...just fixed the roof today, no leaks so far crossing fingers and toes eeks 1
JohnRogers Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Merely a warm and dry day instead of effen hot. 1
Principled Man Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Sunny and HOT for well over a week now. No rain. 97 degrees here in Western Wisconsin 10-Day forecast: More of the same. Sunny, hot and no rain. I haven't seen a summer like this in many years! 1
goose Posted June 11, 2021 Posted June 11, 2021 Our dip into the 70s ends today, with mid-80s expected. By the middle of next week we climb into the high 90s. 1
Maverick Posted June 11, 2021 Posted June 11, 2021 Rained most of the day yesterday, all night, and still raining this morning.
Principled Man Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 :sundog: and 84°! 28% humidity! The upper-90's heat wave has passed. It is perfect now. :haz: 1
pjbear05 Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 After hot and humid for weeks, torrential rain storms yesterday and today. Both days I was out driving around performing errands and was caught in the torrent; windshield wipers were worthless af, Interstate down to 40 mph yesterday. Fortunately made stops and had lunch as part of sitting out the storm. 1
invisible airwave Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 (edited) First triple digit day of the year and I had to go today to sign paperwork before my job orientation on Monday. Came prepared on my bus ride with liter of water in hand and recovery energy drink before. At least I live in the most west part of San Berdu county and not Fontana or San Berdu further east. That would be much worse. Edited June 16, 2021 by invisible airwave 2
pjbear05 Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Gray all morning, raining steadily as I type this, 81°. 1
metallithrax Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Absolutely awful, must have been 25 degrees today. Storms for the next few days apparently.
pjbear05 Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Cloudy, low 80's. Radar shows a huge cell of thunderstorms North of me moving East to West, and I just saw a lightning bolt not to far North of me. Gonna storm real soon.
driventotheedge Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 (edited) 95 today, a few days break (mid-80s) and then near 100 Fri., Sat. and Sun. That massive high pressure over the Southwest has extended clear up here. Edited June 21, 2021 by driventotheedge 1
Fordgalaxy Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Pretty comfortable today but the temps are headed up and we may reach a new, all-time record for June on Sunday, 108 degrees.
goose Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 A wonderful rainstorm made for a nice, cool night. Opened up the house and had a nice breeze all evening, slept great. We'll have a high of 90F today, which is nice. But 95 tomorrow, and near 100 after that. Headed north Tuesday to the Canadian border for a week or so. 1
Lorraine Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Low 90's. But next week at this time the temps for today will be cool. We are supposed to have a week of triple digits - two days near 108; the rest hovering around 105.
IbanezJem Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Put the heating on today, felt colder than the 11 or 52 it claimed to be :o
driventotheedge Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Pretty comfortable today but the temps are headed up and we may reach a new, all-time record for June on Sunday, 108 degrees.Hope we don't. The whole weekend will be sitting in the house with the A/C o. Sigh. The good news is I'm heading off on my annual summer motorcycle trip in 10 days and temps out west are supposed to "moderate" back down to the low 90s. Tolerable. 1
Fordgalaxy Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 Set a new record high temperature for this area today. One hundred eight freakin degrees! But the humidity is only 16%, so there's that. 1
ozzy85 Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 I live in the woods next to the Canadian border... its 107 today. Supposed to be 116 tomorrow. The warehouse is gonna be absolutely miserable. Been thinking about moving back to Alaska. I'm not made for this. 2
