Find the European map, kiddo - you can likely fill in places that some of us have only dreamed of visiting. it's all relative. :)

Not really... I've been to everywhere in the UK but not abroad. Although Scotland is my favourite place on earth so I'm glad that I go there a lot.

I really want to travel more, it's just I can't for different reasons. Maybe in a couple of years time :sigh:

Create Your Own Visited States Map

Wow, I hadn't thought about this in awhile! I worked with someone whose family vacation was always visiting different states. They were trying to get all 48 before their children got married and they did, she told me when they were planning the west coast and I think that was the final trip! When I was young, my Dad worked in the Midwest, then California, then we finally settled in Pittsburgh when I was still little. Guess I should try to get the 11 I don't have but they are kind of spread out!!! (Sorry, Troutman, just counting lower 48 for now although I do have a friend in Sitka!)

As an American I'm not doing much better. I've also been within 13 miles of Colorado. I'll make it a goal to add another state to this before the year is up.

No point in creating a map, just California, Oregon, and Alaska.

Alaska is an incredible place I want to visit one day. It's cool you have that! And (some of) California and Oregon are amazing too!

Buddy of mine motorcycled up there about 20 years ago lived up here for the summer and worked in a cannery the whole 9 yards. Have always wanted to go but seems kind of like the final frontier.

Sitka,

What a beautiful place. I love southeast Alaska. Have done lots of fishing down that way.

I've been to all the US States, except Hawaii' and Alaska. I've been to all Canadian provinces, except Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. I have NOT been to the 3 Canadian territories.

But, all of this has been trucking, and I don't think it counts for shit, and in fact, a lot of it has been a real bummer. I've seen the signs to turn off for Crater Lake, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, and a lot of other National Parks, but, obviously, I couldn't go see them. I've been to some National Parks in Canada, but only because I was delivering there. It's the same with cities. I know how to get around in most of the cities in Canada and the US, but I've never been downtown and really visited them. Recently, Jeopardy showed a picture of Montreal, a city I've been to multiple times. But, I didn't recognise it, because it was downtown.

A lot of those images that Rush is showing on the pre concert film I don't recognize, because of the same reason.

I would argue that if you've been to a National Park or to some state parks in a given state or province, then you've seen more that I have, even though I've driven on over 95% of the Interstate miles in the US.

That is why I didn't include the states that I have only briefly stopped in or drove through. I don't think it gives them a fair shake. North America is so beautiful - and each area has some amazing things to see, from the desert, to the beaches to the mountains (and even the differences in the mountain ranges) ~ I think vacationing here is wonderful.

Yeah, but y'all have Nova Scotia and British Columbia, which I think are tops.

Nova Scotia IS amazing. I love the East coast. PEI and New Brunswick are also beautiful. I haven't been to BC, :(

On one trip through the Pacific Northwest (or, as Canadians would call it, the Pacific Southwest  ) I was driving east through BC, just north of the border. The road went across ridges of very tall mountains, and I felt like I was at the top of the world! It was really beautiful.

Since other people have mentioned other countries, as well...I've also been to Mexico, Puerto Rico (U.S. Commonwealth, I know), Haiti, Venezuela, various different islands in the Caribbean and the British West Indies...and all the way 'cross the pond, to Morocco.

If I had counted states that I've just driven through, I could add several more to mine as well (Missouri, Kansas, Utah, Alabama and Mississippi).

Thank you :sundog: ! I can't do this from home. My Surface does not like the Forum. It takes me ten minutes to type one sentence. I don't understand it.
