Muse - Super Massive Blackhole

I can not get this song out of my head today.

Porcupine Tree- The Sound of Muzak. I listened to In Absentia a few times and this one just blew me away the last listen. Such a good song.

Great track! trink39.gif

Pumpkins - Glissandra. Ridiculously brilliant production. Album of the Year (so far), no question. Yeah, even edging out CA.

Glissandra is an awesome track. It owned me when Oceania first came out.

But for now, it's Soundgarden - Rowing.

Two songs that are owning me, by the band that is owning me:

The Who: Heaven and Hell and Water, from Live at the Isle of Wight.

I can't explain how obsessed I am with these two songs at the moment...

Mama by Genesis. Such an aggressive vocal from Phil, that he really never ever matched again, solo or Genesis material.

One of my all-time favourites. I never, ever get sick of this song.

Glad you mentioned his vocals as well...just a mind-blowing performance really...especially in that 'bridge' section. Love it!

There you go ladies and gentlemen. Marc Ford delivers the greatest guitar solo in the history of rock and roll on this tune. Good call, Sheldon Cooper. Very exciting to see another Black Crowes fan here...

p.s. - The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is the most underrated album in all of rock and roll. A brilliant album from start to finish. It constantly jockeys with Yes's Close to the Edge for distinction as my favorite album of all time (I know that's a strange matchup on paper).
