  1. Haven't been here in ages, figured I should drop by after I heard the news. Spent so much of my high school years here. It's cool to come back and see so many familiar usernames, even though the circumstances are so awful.
  2. Woah! Thanks guys! Between work and my band I've been too busy to come here regularly anymore, but I definitely miss this place sometimes. Many belated thanks for the birthday wishes. :)
  3. Alexisonfire- This Could Be Anywhere In The World
  4. Shiny new F-350 or Ram 3500: almost certainly an alpha douchebag. Will always tailgate you when you're doing 10 over, because they need to pick up a case of Budweiser and cuss out some fast food employees before the football game starts. Slightly older heavy duty pickup: Friendly handyman who actually USES his giant-ass truck. Much older pickup: drunk teenager.
  5. I look totally zoned-out in this pic, but whatevs.
  6. Got a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo station wagon last week. Not much to look at, but it hauls band gear around pretty well.
  7. The scene with Walt and Jesse was perfect. Shutting down Walt's last attempt to manipulate Jesse into doing his will. Way more satisfying than Jesse killing Walt, as much as they both deserved that.
  8. One more song from Power Windows and it would've been a real possibility. Yes, if they played one more PW song they would no doubt have been upset that they did not just give them the full album. It is after all one of their finest works. Don't get me wrong, I love the album and the songs sounded great at the show. I just don't think the crowd in general was really digging the mid-80's-heavy setlist. I was kind of surprised they didn't mix in any of the older crowd-pleasers until the very end of the set.

  10. Every once in a while, I'll get into a mood where I just want to listen to this song on repeat. The production is absolutely spectacular. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8M1b8SzusA
  11. You gotta respect Gaga somewhat though. Why? She's totally derivative. I find nothing particularily inspired in her music. I've seen it and heard it all before. You may not like her, but just the fact that she can sing AND always sings live should earn her some credit. Not really. That isn't unusual at all, even in mainstream pop. Really? Bieber, Kesha, Rhianna, Brittney etc. all lip synch. Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, Pink, Justin Timberlake...lots of real singers in pop. And Bieber and Rhianna definitely do have pipes even if they've used lip-syncing on occasion.

  13. I'm in love with My Head Is An Animal. Great album.
  14. Taylor Swift is a decent songwriter, but most of the singles from her new album are tuneless, trend-hopping dreck. Pitbull's "Feel This Moment" is abysmal. One Direction are a lifestyle brand that occasionally dabbles in music, and it shows.
