Union 5-3992 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I once sold a couple candy canes to a guy for $20. The markup he was willing to pay was so crazy.

go2wrk@95974 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Probably delivering paper's for 5 years, when I was a kid. That was a very cool job..I'd try to porch just about every paper I could..even from the middle of the street. Most of the time , I got it done. depending on the wind variations, I could throw a fast one, a slider, or a curve to get it there. It was a 3 hr. deal ,7 days a week. I loved though...and the money was not too bad, for a teenager. also me and a friend of mine also used to mow lawn's for a few bucks in the spring, summer, and fall. Anything to make extra moola, so we could take our girlfriend's out on a friday or sat. night.
TullSkull Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 QUOTE (ILSnwdog @ Jul 12 2012, 11:07 AM)I worked on a crew that did professional fireworks productions. Very Cool.. I got to help a few time when I was on the fire dpt, no pay though, did the fire spotter job with a wildland crew, got to have them here for that kind of show. The wildland fire fighting I did was also very cool, well at times was way HOT.. Damn that was fun. The job I had where I had to be on my skies a lot was also very cool. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-sport023.gif The job, oh, business I have now is really cool and the customers love it as do the merchants..

Principled Man Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 As a teenager, I used to be an evening cashier in a mouse-infested grocery store, which was owned by a hideously mean and condescending old hag and her douchebag son. I made a lot of money every week or two, when some other workers' families would come in and get carts full of groceries......which would cost them about $5.00. I got $20-25 on the side.....and even when I got caught and fired, I had little remorse, as it was great revenge on the hideously mean and cruel old hag. Man oh man, how we hated that hag.....
KenJennings Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I once drank a gallon of water in under two minutes for five bucks.
