I noticed on the cover of Beyond The Lighted Stage a line that says: "From the creators of "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" and "Iron Maiden: Flight 666" so I watched both of those yesterday. Got me so fired up I played my guitar for 8-9 hours straight :haz: :guitar:

Chinatown, 1974. Great film. Best line imo is not "Forget it Jake, it's Chinatown" but rather "Politicians ugly buildings and whores all get respectable if they last long enough." hahaha.

Got the Blu-ray Tuesday, at 4am at the Walmart.......cranked it up when I got home!! Basement level, of course. I would never wake up the neighbors.... :laughing guy:

My SO thought it would be a nice surprise to pick up Into Darkness. Watched it again last night.

 

Yep, still disappointing (but she doesn't need to know that). Where's my Star Trek TV show?

Just came from seeing The Wolverine in the cinema. Out here it premiered just yesterday and is called "Wolverine: Samurai".

It doesn't do anything embarassing but it also doesn't do anything great. There are some good action scenes and never really goes into the cheese zone. It beats the hell out of the awful "Wolverine: Origins" but also is nowhere near the outstanding "X-Men 2".

 

Overall rating: B-

It wasn't that bad, Ben Kingsley was cool as the bad guy, Alfred Molina was good too as kind of merchant arab type guy and the tart they had in this was easy on the eyes and a bit feisty too.
