Natural Science is slightly more brilliant than The Camera Eye. MP's two shorter tracks I slightly prefer over PW's. Natural Science and Vital Signs are 2 of my top 10 Rush songs. Bastille Dave Posted September 8, 2010 Share Posted September 8, 2010 I'll admit I looked at the results before voting on this one, figuring I'd vote for the underdog if it was lagging way behind. 9-9, split right down the middle. I guess ya gotta start with the epic tracks on this: I am a huge fan of TCE, probably 6th or 7th on my alltime fave Rush list. But NC is just slightly higher. However, I'll take the rest of MP2 over PeW2. So for me out of 100%: Moving Pictures side 2=50.3333% vs. Permanent Waves side 2=49.6667%. So MP it is. First off, clearly these are the weaker sides of each album. On my top 50 list, I had the following: #14 - Natrual Science #24 - Witch Hunt #36 - Vital Signs #37 - Entre Nous The Camera Eye and Different Strings didn't crack my top 50, but both are great songs and would probably be somewhere between 51-75. I guess I have to give the VERY slight edge to Permanent Waves, if for no other reason than I rate the epic on PW far above the epic on MP.
