Just got home from a rock and roll show that brought me back in touch with everything I love about live music. I feel it through my whole body...there's just nothing else like it.

I've had a smile on my face for nearly five and a half hours now...I can't seem to stop.

Thank you. :)

Still feeling it today...started off watching a full concert on YouTube of the band (well, one of the three) that I saw last night:

And continuing on right now with a first listen to the new Chris Robinson album- incidentally, just released yesterday.

:7up:

Working on the P-51 today, I faced (to me) a daunting task. Putting the Photo-Etch seatbelts together. 3 parts together 6 times, and got nowhere fast for almost an hour. Then, inspiration hit, and I eliminated the tinyest part, and super glued the rest together! It looks fantastic, even without the part {superfluous in my opinion anyway} put enough S-G on em so they'll NEVER seperate, they'd already been painted, so eveything's copacetic, and Voila! Also figured out what the Instrument Panel was missing, and equipped it with it, and it LOOKS SOOOOO TITS!!! Now all I have to do is figure out how to photograph it without glare showing it's ugly face! Maybe it's just gonna take you all taking my word for it! TRUST ME! I ORGASMED when I added the backing it needed for the instruments faces to show up excellently! What made me extremely happy, was that MY BRAIN STILL WORKS on SOLVING PROBLEMS that come up from time to time! http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Insults/poke-brain-smiley.gifhttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Yay%20%20Woo-Hoo%20%20etc/Frolicking.gifhttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Yay%20%20Woo-Hoo%20%20etc/woohooyellow.gif

I discovered Buddhism. I was raised Catholic, but who cares

Buddhism is more philosophy than anything else. Sensibility would say you can follow both teachings.

Living in a Buddhist country, it might surprise Westerners to know that most here aren't that "religious" or "into it" as you might think.

Christianity is quite ridgid, and like JB said, Buddhism is more a philosophy, us westerners aren't familiar with that type of an experience...

Youngest Daughter (along with Boyfrand) flew to Iceland today to hike the Laugavegur. It makes my day because I'm always proud that she is never afraid to grab life by the balls (she recently hiked through Turkey alone), and she inherited this love of travel from her parents. But, as a doting dad, I'm also extremely nervous for the duration of her treks because so much can go wrong.

After Iceland they're flying to Göteborg, Sweden, to visit friends and I'll be able to sleep peacefully again.

I would have never slept, just from the chronic worrying.

It was hard, man. In the middle of my workday she texted that she took on a faceful of tear gas in central Istanbul. I canceled some meetings with clients after that because I just couldn't deal.

My daughter and I saw "A Comedy of Errors" last night at Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe. We go every year, father and daughter.
