A friend of mine just informed me that they said 'Room 2112' on Grey's Anatomy.  Now I don't like Grey's Anatomy..but thats pretty awesome  biggrin.gif

I was watching Grey's with my better half (i.e., forced to watch it) and when they said room 2112, I laughed my ass off and pointed it out... which just got a blank stare. rofl3.gif

I would have gotten the same reaction... *sigh* laugh.gif

Today at work, we got a delivery and on the box it read,

2112 of 2339.

I turned the box over and there was a label on it, next to the shipping address that said,

"Rush".

I wish I had a camera at the time.

A lot of times I put in $21.12 of gas in my van. I often wonder how many people that pull up to that pump after I leave get it. 2.gif  biggrin.gif

I just put $51.50 (go VH!) in my car 062802puke_prv.gif

$21.12 won't get me too far!

Well, I try to keep the tank half full or more. That's why I do it. biggrin.gif 2.gif

Today I was doing my treadmill exercises and when I checked how far I'd done 1.5 miles in, the timer read exactly 21:12. Then when I'd finished my thirty minutes, I checked how far I'd gotten it was 2.112 miles.

Purely by coincidence, I'm too out of shape and exhausted to control the timing like that.

One day last week, I had a transaction for $2,113.00. I was so bummed that it was a dollar off. Not to worry, however; about half an hour later, I took in a deposit with a bunch of checks, and when I lifted up the deposit slip, the check on top was for $21.12. I squeed "I am disappointed no longer"! I don't care that everyone else was shaking their heads and rolling their eyes, it was like Rush was smiling on me bncegrn.gif Edited by 1 of the 7

The Rushest Hockey Game Ever!! Rangers vs Canadiens last night. A big "Rush 20 Avril" sign on the boards (Rush April 20 in Montreal), the shots were 21 12 after 2 periods and they showed a Rick Mercer commercial where they were in front of Queen's Park (Moving Pictures)!!!

I was reading a book the other day called Tithe by Holly Black. A guy had just come out of a faerie world and he said, "I thought I was going to pull a Rip Van Winkle and find out it was the year 2112 and no one knew who I was." I guess the author likes some Rush, eh? ;D

Also, I always keep my phone's clock on 24 hour time, just so at 9:12 pm it always says 21:12. ^^

I normally take and put back my books in whatever order as long as they're grouped by series. I noticed that my EX MACHINA and Y: The last man books were lined up to show 2112. Also, my 2112/MP blu-ray is also there tongue.gif.

When I bought my Harley 2 years ago, I decided to take my first long vacation ride in August. I decided to ride to Reno, stay at a casino resort there, ride all the way around lake Tahoe one day while down there, then ride up to Spokane to vist family and finally back home to Vancouver, WA. I have 2 different trip meters on the bike and I used one to compute gas milage with each fill up and the other I set to zero when I left my house to see how many miles I rode for the entire trip. When I got back home and checked that meter I was most pleased to see that I had ridden 2112 miles total on the trip. Here's a pic of the bike at the top of the Mt. Rose highway between Reno and Lake Tahoe.

I know this is kinda stupid but there is a game on Facebook that has postcards of different cities. The Toronto postcard has a stamp you have to buy that costs 2112 coins. I think one of the game developers is a Rush fan because that's too much of a coincidence.
