I'm 13 and I loved the concert I saw for my birthday in August. If you are sitting close to the stage, get some ear plugs though -- the music can be quite loud. I say take your daughter, and I hope she has as much fun as I did. (:

A RUSH fan dies and goes to Heaven, where he meets St. Peter. St. Peter is in the middle of showing him around Heaven when the fan hears someone drumming just like Neil Peart. I was reading a book the other day called Tithe by Holly Black. A guy had just come out of a faerie world and he said, "I thought I was going to pull a Rip Van Winkle and find out it was the year 2112 and no one knew who I was." I guess the author likes some Rush, eh? ;D Also, I always keep my phone's clock on 24 hour time, just so at 9:12 pm it always says 21:12. ^^

A tribe captures them and the chief says, go into the jungle and find ten of the same fruit, then come back. The first man goes out into the jungle, finds ten apples, and comes back. The chief says "You have to put all of these up your ass without making any sound or facial expression. If you do, I'll kill you. So the man gets to the second apple and starts crying, and the chief shoots him. The second man comes back with grapes, he gets to nine grapes and starts laughing. The chief shoots him. The first man and the second man meet in heaven and the first man says to the second man, "Why did you laugh? You were almost done!" The second man says, "I saw the third guy coming in with pineapples."

I really, really, really, really love that one note that Alex does in his La Villa Strangiato solo. At 4:32, and again around 5:00. I just love how strong and emotional it is -- stuff like that really gets me.

- have one too many cats - Alex - have slept with the most different women - ...skip... - initiate a snowball fight with the other two - Alex - grow a full beard (not just a goatee) - Neil (he rocked that badass moustache for a while, why not a beard? XD) -secretly draw extremely realistic sketches of landscapes -do a "free hugs" sign-holding thingy in a public place -attend a yo yo ma concert -play a prank on one of the other members of the band

All these kid pictures are making me go "AWWW!" I don't have any children because I'm still a child myself -- hell, I'm 13! -- but next time I get together with my little cousins I'll take pictures All of you are lucky to have such beautiful children!

Last night I dreamt I was at a Rush concert on the Grand Canyon on the edge of a cliff. It really wasn't very safe, but it was awesome. So anyway, Alex got kind of eaten up by this plane...transformer...thing... and it was black and yellow and large and it kind of opened and closed like a drawstring bag, i guess you could say? Anyway, Alex got in it and it crashed. And we were just about to find out if he was alive or not, and then my dad woke me up.
