Neil Diamond this weekend in Kansas City

Dude...I'm seriously jealous. Love Neil Diamond!! Would have seen him in Brooklyn a few weeks ago but have personal issues with the venue and am trying to avoid events there.

Just had a friend offer me a ticket to Yes and Toto in Baltimore in August! Always wanted to see Toto! (Saw Yes when they were the real deal..so this is sort of a "bonus")

The NBA sells a lie that neighborhood around the Barclays Center is a dump.

Concerts this year:

Rush - July 9, 2015 - Kansas City

Styx - August 15, 2015 - Iowa State Fair

Def Leppard - August 15, 2015 - Iowa State Fair

Tesla - August 15, 2015 - Iowa State Fair

Styx always puts on a good show though they've visibly lost some of the fire they had a few years ago. JY's still a guitar monster but his vocals have been on the decline, and age is finally catching up to Shaw after seemingly decades of perfect vocals. Hopefully he'll still deliver good.

Def Leppard put on an amazing show when I saw them in 2012. The guitar duo of Collen/Vivian Campbell is insane. Unfortunately I'm not expecting any curve balls from them this time since they're triple billing, so there will be a shorter set. Prepare for nothing but stuff from Hysteria...

Never seen Tesla live or know much about them, except they're a band from the 80's that was killed by the 90's. Only seeing them because I'm already going for Lep and Styx.

Nothing else I've seen is coming close by, cause nobody wants to play in Iowa  Definitely better than last year though. NOBODY I wanted to see was playing.

So here's how my concert schedule looks as of now:

May 29 - Steven Wilson

May 30 - Steven Wilson

June 4 - Ride

June 29 - Rush

August 5 - Faith No More

October 22 - Opeth (not sure if I'll go with VIP or just standard tickets now that I own a credit card, but the VIP Meet and Greet option is now a possibility)

Scored center left row tickets for the Opeth 25th Anniversary show in NYC on October 22nd! $50 for an orchestral level seat is a pretty good deal IMO! Will call tickets, but I don't mind it at all.

My issues have nothing to do with the neighborhood, but with bad experiences at the venue.
